Enjoy a comfortable extended stay in our modern studio apartments at The Liberty Building. Each unit offers an open layout, full kitchen, spacious bath, and bright natural light. Perfect for working professionals, traveling nurses, or guests wanting easy access to Yale, downtown dining, parks, and shopping. Stay longer and feel at home with reliable amenities, secure entry, and a walkable, convenient location.  
  
We’re available around the clock, so guests can contact us anytime with questions, concerns, or anything they may need during their stay.  
  
Higher education and a rich history define the area of Downtown New Haven. This neighborhood centers around nine original squares from the 1600s, as well as the collegiate Ivy League institution that is Yale University.  
  
Along with Yale’s campus, much of the community is made up of the New Haven Green and the commercial district. Downtown New Haven’s strong community presence is evident with its many restaurants, entertainment venues, and nightlife – especially on Chapel Street.  
  
As urban as this neighborhood is, it’s also one of the most residential downtowns in the nation. The Shops at Yale is in walking distance of Yale’s Old Campus, and includes a variety of boutiques, salons, and eateries.  
  
Guests enjoy access to a variety of convenient on-site amenities, including a well-equipped fitness center, laundry facilities, and a comfortable clubhouse for relaxing or getting work done. The building features controlled access for added security, an elevator for easy navigation, and a business center ideal for remote work. Furnished units are available, and optional laundry service provides extra convenience during longer stays.  
  
The studio apartments offer a bright, open layout designed for comfort and longer stays. Each unit features a modern kitchen with full-size stainless steel appliances, sleek cabinetry, and ample counter space—perfect for cooking at home. Large windows bring in natural light, while the sleeping area feels cozy yet spacious, with room for a desk or reading nook. The bathrooms are updated with clean finishes and generous storage. These studios provide everything needed for an easy, convenient stay.

We’re happy to host pets! Please review our guidelines:  
• Maximum of 2 pets per reservation  
• No aggressive breeds  
• 50 lb weight limit  
• $250 one-time, non-refundable pet fee

Mid-Term Stay Prep  
  
We primarily host mid-term stays, though short visits are welcome when availability allows.  
Because the units are set up for longer stays, we provide starter essentials only: one roll of toilet paper, paper towels, and one trash bag. Please plan to bring or purchase additional supplies for your stay.  
  
Maintenance Access  
  
To keep the property safe and well-maintained:  
• Annual preventive maintenance may require brief access for smoke detector checks, HVAC filters, etc. We will always notify you beforehand.  
• For emergency issues (leaks, electrical hazards, etc.), if we cannot reach you within \[X\] hours, management may enter to prevent damage.  
  
Occupants & Guest Policy  
  
• The name on the reservation must match the primary occupant  
• Please ensure the reservation reflects all guests and pets staying in the home  
  
Mailbox Access  
  
• Available upon request and not guaranteed  
• Activation may take up to 24 business hours  
• Requires a $35 refundable key deposit
