Guests must check-in after 3 pm. The guest that booked the reservation must be the person to check-in, unless or the host must be made aware that the reservation is made for another member of their family. 2\. Guests must check-out by 11 am. 3\. The number of guests that was pre-book on AirBnB must be the number of guests that check-in and stay at the apartment. If extra guests past the allowed amount stay, then there will be additional charge of $50 per guest. If guests knowingly lie on the booking reservation and bring extra guests past the allowed amount (example, the number of total guests booked was ten, and the number of guests that stay at the apartment is eleven), then the party must leave immediately, and no refund will be given. However, the host does understand that sometimes things happen, so please contact AirBnB to update the booking if more guests come during the stay. The host will need to be provided with official confirmation from AirBnB of the update. 4\. This apartment is smoke-free. No illegal drugs are allowed to be consumed on the apartment premises. No cigarettes are allowed to be smoked inside the apartment. 5\. NO PETS ALLOWED. Guest will be asked to leave immediately and will not be refunded if an animal is found on the apartment premises. 6\. Guests must keep appropriate noise levels to not disturb neighborhood. We do have noise monitors on site inside premise to monitor noise levels. They will alert us if noise exceeds a certain threshold. 7\. No illegal activities are allowed on the apartment premises. 8\. Parking is available on-site. Please be courteous to other guests and park in an appropriate manner. 9\. Guests are not allowed to use charcoal grills on the apartment premises. Guests are not allowed to initiate anything such as lighting candles, barbecuing, or anything thereof with flames that may cause a fire on the apartment premises. 10\. The apartment comes fully furnished for guests’ stay. Guests must keep all furnishings in good, clean conditions. 11\. Guests must use all appliances for intended use. Any damages due to any type of negligence will be charged to guests as a penalty fee. 12\. Guests are responsible for their belongings, items, and possessions. Hosts are not responsible for any loss of missing items during the stay of the guests. Please be sure to check for belonging before checking-out. We can't promise that items will still be on the premise after the cleaners come. 13\. Hosts are not responsible for any injuries, accidents, or illnesses that happen while on the apartment premises. The location was near a friendly corner market and a small grocery and book store. We didn't spend time in the apartment during the day so we didn't take advantage of of the many windows that let in nice autumn light. Check in was easy, verything was clean and the beds were comfortable. The kitchen is pretty bare-bones and there isn't a lot of extra "stuff" around so if we were planning to do a lot of cooking or hoping to play games and read books that were in the house we might have been disappointed but as it was we were very happy here for a couple of days while visiting family. ##### Sarah S. The living area is in a separate room away from the kitchen/dining area, just keep that in mind if you're planning to hang out with a group. The beds were very comfortable, as previous reviews have mentioned! Location couldn't be better -- right in the heart of East Rock, walking distance to a couple coffee shops and anywhere you wish to within Yale or downtown. Everything was mostly clean... I have cleaning standards that are higher than most, so take this with a grain of salt. The sponges in the kitchen sink looked old and there were smudges on the plastic drink cups (glass would nicer, if possible). The fridge smelled a tiny bit and looked like it wasn't thoroughly cleaned between visits. The bedrooms had a stark appearance, with almost no decorations. It would be nice to have more surfaces to place things on other than a single tiny bedside table. The host, Henry, was communicative through automated text messages that were quite long, but the extra info came in handy. If you are looking for a prime location spot, this place gets the job done. If you want a cozy home-like experience that is conducive to relaxing and hanging out, then you may want to keep looking. ##### Kathleen R. Communication was excellent, home was pristinely clean and we felt very safe. Walked down the street to a lovely coffee shop when we arrived. Could have walked to dinner on State Street but "nonsensible shoes" made us opt for a drive! Comfortable beds and luxurious towels. Cozy parlor sitting area. There are super cute markets, coffee shops, and cafes within easy walking distance. Sometimes we walked to campus but otherwise it was an easy Uber ride.
