"This hotel is AWESOME! It’s an architectural landmark! I could tell that the exterior looked old and the interior looked new- but I had no idea it was designed by Marcel Breuer (a famous architect). I then found out that the movie “The Brutalist” was based on his work. It’s one of only ten LEED certified platinum hotels in the US. They have a free shuttle (which was a beautiful electric Hyundai). They even had nice bicycles to borrow. I think it was worth paying another $20 to get a room with a water view. "

"Great location in New Haven and very walkable to a lot of great restaurants. There is a parking deck across the street for a fee with adjoining bridge on the second floor between the parking garage and the hotel. Friendly staff at the lobby and beautiful lobby. Space. Comfortable beds and nice bathroom. Very clean and quiet on the 5 th floor. "

"The rooms were nicely redone, classy and old school but clean and modernized. Staff and service were excellent, the Poindexter cafe downstairs was super convenient with delicious and good quality coffee and breakfast items. Location extremely convenient to shops, dining and campus."
