We had a wonderful week at Kenmure Kennels walking the trails, gathering around the table and enjoying the cosy fire. The house is well equipped for a group and feels like a loving home, not a characterless rental.

The hotel is I fine stately home, but needs a lot of money spent on it to bring it up to standard.

The Ship Inn
Room excellent and clean staff very friendly and helpful food in restaurant also very good went there off season so not much open in village and surrounding areas but still found enough to do would recommend

Cottage with stunning views over Kirkcudbright Bay, a short walk from the beach.
Due to unforeseen circumstances we had to cancel our December booking, however the owner very kindly allowed us to rebook for the end of February 2026.Nice secluded cottage, plenty of room and well equipped. Woodburn Lodge With Private Hottub, Smart tv with Wifi, Veiws To Mabie Forrest
The property was excellent,was very well equipped & was in a picturesque location. I spoke to the host Nigel before we arrived,he was very friendly and helpful. I would highly recommend this property.
