The one-room cabins are well-decorated, clean, comfortable, and stocked with everything you might need for a relaxing weekend in the Texas Hill Country. Perfect for couples, individual travelers, or anyone seeking a little tranquility! The Space The cabin is well appointed, offering the conveniences of home and a peaceful escape from the routine. You can sit on the screened patio and watch a variety of birds or deer, while enjoying a cup of coffee in the morning or a glass of wine in the evening. After a day of exploring nearby attractions or hanging out on the patio, you can relax inside while cooking a delicious meal and reading by the fireplace. \- Living/dining/kitchen/bedroom are all open concept \- Luxurious Tuft+Needle California King mattress \- Kitchen is well-stocked with all essentials to cook your own meals \- K-pod coffee maker and tea kettle available \- Living room features a wood-burning fireplace for crisp winter evenings and a comfortable full-size futon \- Smart TVs with antenna and Wi-Fi \- 1 bathroom with walk-in shower \- A screened, covered patio with two gliders with a beautiful view of the property, perfect for enjoying a glass of cup of coffee in the morning or a glass of wine in the evening \- Back patio with Weber grill \- Patio lights are great at night! Please turn off when not in use. The Location There are two cabins on a peaceful, beautiful 7-acre property. The cabins are generously spaced from each other to ensure privacy and tranquility. The Prickly Pear Cabin is located on the dry river bluff, and the Rosemary Cabin is located towards the center of the property, surrounded by large, beautiful oak trees. One of the best things about this property is its proximity to other Hill Country attractions. \- 15 minutes to the Wimberley Square, Jacob’s Well Natural Area, and the Blue Hole \- 30 minutes to Driftwood, TX (home of the Salt Lick and Duchman Cellars) \- 30 minutes to Dripping Springs, TX \- 30 minutes to San Marcos, TX \- 45 minutes to New Braunfels and Gruene \- 45 minutes to Canyon Lake \- An hour to Fredericksburg and Austin Guest Access The whole property is yours to share with any occupants staying in the other cabin on the property. These are generously spaced from each other to ensure peace and privacy! You are welcome to walk around the property, but please be respectful and considerate to other guests and our neighbors. We have a new family of bees on the property that we maintain. They are 100 yards from the unit and roped off but please mindful of this when walking around the property. Please treat this cabin with the same love and respect that we put into it to make it our little piece of heaven to share. \*\*The health and safety of our guests is paramount. Cleanliness is always our top priority. We offer a 24-hour guest service contact number for emergencies and messages will be answered promptly. We had a great time sitting outside in the evening with a pit fire and looking at the stars. Our eyes lit up when we entered the property for the first time. Perfect and cozy are just 2 of the words that on how I would describe this property. The cabin was clean, nice and secluded. But it was only about a 10 minute drive to Wimberley with everything we needed, or an hour to Austin. The scenery and cabin was very nice. The river was dry though, and very hard to get down too. But overall a very good stay. ##### Chris B. Kitchen has everything you need and then some. They even had charcoal & lighter fluid for the outside grill! The bed is very comfortable. The screened in porch was very nice for morning coffee, and the internet worked great. Unfortunately the a/c quit working on our first night and we cut our trip short by two days. After trying to report the a/c problem to the property manager five times (nobody would pick up the phone) we ended up calling the owner. He was fabulous and contacted the property manager right away. Four hours later I had not heard from the property manager and called again only to learn the a/c could not be fixed until the next afternoon. (they claim they had the wrong phone number & did not try to email us or communicate through VRBO app) It was hotter in the cabin than outside and we packed our bags and left. I texted, emailed and communicated to the property manager that we were leaving. The next day I received a response stating they were not aware of any issues with the a/c! They did credit me for two nights, but their poor communication ruined our little twenty year anniversary get-a-way. Again, the cabin is beautiful and well equipped. The owner tried his best, even coming over himself. ##### Wyona B.
