The tragic flooding occurred-on the other (north)side of-the lake. The water that entered Canyon Lake from Kerr County remained in Canyon Lake because it was only 48% full as a result the of a draught.. Water was not released into our side of the river. The location is impossible to beat, the how is nice and well kept. Only issues are, the master bedroom is just an open upstairs loft space with no door, so no privacy. The other is, be prepared to be awoken every morning at 4:30am. There are dumpsters right outside the front door and every morning a trash truck comes for pick up and they are not quite in the process, then immediately after the trash truck, the food delivery truck for the restaurant next door shows up and the crew unloading the truck have full blown conversations right outside the window in between slamming the ramp down and running up and down it. ##### PETER M.
