Sheets were clean and smelled nice. (the pillow cases were cotton, but the sheets were polyester which is a big pet peeve as they sleep very hot, I know establishments like them because they are thin and easy to wash, but it is never nice to sleep on plastic) The location is very convenient to market days, right across the street and only one mile from town. The cabins are gated which is a plus. We didn't get to see the pool. We liked the protection of the entry hall in front of the 4 front cabins. Some items need attention, the exterior front needs a cleaning/de-webbing and windows cleaned. The bed is not properly supported underneath which is super frustrating, they have a bunch of boards but they are not secured and they fall over. The lock is not secure, not a deadbolt, anybody could push in even though seems like a very sweet and safe place, a deadbolt is a must. Also the fireplace came on once but we could never get it to come on again. But the room was huge, the location great as was the price. Overall would stay again. ##### Kristine Wilson T. They didn’t seem to have a grounds keeper either. I get that guests should clean up after themselves and unfortunately some do not, but there were beer cans left outside the building on Friday and they were still there on Sunday. I would expect someone cleans up when guests don’t follow directions. The bugs…. We found at least 5 spiders and two roaches in our room. There were dead bugs in the bathroom trash can when we checked in. We enjoyed the location, perfectly settled near downtown Wimberley. Just wish the place felt cleaner and less buggy. ##### W. It was convenient for watching the parade and easily getting to our friend's house. Only thing I wish there would have been is a toaster or small stove. We brought our own food to eat and couldn't eat half of it, so ended up having to go out to eat which we didn't want to do. We will stay here again on our next trip to Wimberley and will plan better food wise now that we know we can't cook anything. ##### Eva A. He had some stuff come up but we went ahead and went down for a short getaway. Found the place easily enough and the pool was great to relax in at the end of the day. Only exceptions we observed is that it is hard to see the cabin names to identify which one is yours (especially the front cabin, as it is the back of the cabin that faces the parking lot), the property is not lit at all, esp for evening/night time, one of the door handles to enter Cabins 1-4 was completely off and not working and we were not able to enjoy the front porch or swing due to heavy amount of spiders and insects on the chairs, swing and doorways. It seemed it had not been cleaned in awhile. With those few minor issues being addressed, we would definitely stay again! It was really pretty surroundings. ##### Jose F.
