If you are looking to “head for the hills” Live Oak Ranch is the perfect escape. This Spacious Ranch House is located on 17 acres, in the town of Spring Branch, home of the Guadalupe River State Park. At this secluded property enjoy gorgeous views, a private swimming pool, or relax amongst the live oak trees in the hammock or tree swing. This roomy property will host up to 20 guests and includes four separate buildings: a Main House, Annex, Bunk House, and the Old Bunkhouse. With six bedrooms and five baths there is an abundance of room for everyone. This significant Ranch House is decorated with a traditional farmhouse feel. This property hosts two comfortable living areas one in the Main House and another in the Annex. In both spaces you will find comfortable furnishings as well as interesting artwork. Appreciate the appealing rock walls, the living area with cedar beams, the wood burning fireplace, as well as rich leather furniture. With lively checkerboard flooring stars, and chicken decor, preparing your favorite meals will be fun and effortless in this fully stocked kitchen complete with stainless steel appliances, and plenty of counter space. There was enough room for everyone but still everyone had their individual space. The property was well keeped up and stocked with all essentials we needed. The grounds are beautiful from the pond, the barn with the pickleball court and the animals domestic and wild. Sunrise in the morning was beautiful, and the surroundings very peaceful. Beautiful stars Everyone loved the house but we do have a few suggestions. 1\. Masterbath shower has little to no water, possibly the faucet itself. As there was no pressure on hot water if you just turned it to hot 2\. Possibly some lighting out by the pool or fix light in pool. 3\. Too many twins and not enough full doubles, minor detail and really depends on the group coming. All that said we would definitely go back and recommend. There were 22 of us and we found everything we needed here. All the kids had a good time running around and swimming. The barn was a good place for us to watch the UFC on a projector that we took. We chose this property for an 80th Birthday Party/Family Reunion and couldn't have been happier. There were 20 of us including two little ones and everyone was beyond comfortable. The multiple buildings provide individual spaces for each family group and the common areas were large enough for everyone to congregate. We were pleasantly surprised at how well appointed the amenities were and can't think of anything that was missed. We enjoyed a long weekend of pool time, BBQ's, strolls on the property, longhorns, evening smores, and pickleball! That's right, the owners were kind enough to setup a pickleball net in the barn and we were able to have one of our traditional family tournaments. Peaceful, tranquil, and welcoming with a variety of activities for everyone. We highly recommend Live Oak Ranch for large groups. ##### David V. Our family of 20 had more than enough room to spread out and enjoy our time there. The accommodations were comfortable, clean, and plenty. Lots of outdoor space for everyone to play, large table to enjoy our meals, and a clean swimming pool to keep cool. Management and owners were easy to reach and prompt to reply.
