"Hill Country Haven" is 3 Bedroom, Hallway with 6 Bunk Beds, 4 Bathrooms and is over 2100 sq. ft. It is a one-story located on top of a mountain with gorgeous views of the Hill Country. The home is not wheelchair accessible. It also has several step downs throughout the home. You can watch turkeys, fox, deer, roadrunners and a wide variety of bird life from the patio. This home will accommodate 10 people. It is located 1/2 mile to the 4th Crossing on River Road, minutes to the "Horseshoe" on the Guadalupe River and Whitewater Amphitheater. It is less than 10 minutes to Canyon Lake where you can enjoy boating, water-skiing and sailing. There is extra parking for a boat. The Guadalupe River sits 1/2 mile away. You can go to Rio Raft at the 4th Crossing or Little Ponderosa Outfitters at the Ponderosa Bridge for renting tubes and shuttle service. If you enjoy live music, Whitewater Amphitheater, River Road Icehouse and Gruene Hall are just a short drive. You are only 15 minutes to New Braunfels and Gruene where you can enjoy Schlitterbahn Water Park, Comal River Tubing, Wurstfest, Gruene Market Days, shopping, wineries and great restaurants. Just a short 35 mile drive to San Antonio is where you will find Six Flags Fiesta Texas, Sea World and the Riverwalk as well as great restaurants. The Alamo along with several other missions are located in San Antonio for fantastic day trips. Wimberley is only 25 minutes away where you can enjoy Wimberley Market Days and shopping. For you golfers, there are courses located in Canyon Lake, New Braunfels, Seguin, San Marcos and Austin.

For renter's information, our property has two security cameras for the sole purpose of security. Hill Country Haven has a Ring camera on the front left of the house to record the driveway, and a Ring Doorbell located at the front door. No cameras invade guests' privacy.

We enjoyed the house thoroughly! Thank for such a lovely time! It was really helpful that the house has kitchenware so we can cook throughout the day. We were able to bring our groceries early, which helped a lot. The only thing is that we had difficulty figuring out the speakers in the living room (the amplifier), so perhaps instructions could be helpful for the next family. Lastly, this house is a great place for photos at sunset, our family photos came out lovely. Thank you for a wonderful time!

Beautiful property!

When we first booked this house we absolutely thought this listing was too good to be true and something would be wrong when we showed up.. boy were we WRONG! We were all so impressed with this property! This house is absolutely beautiful. The hosts have quite possibly everything you could need available and Vicky is so sweet! Unfortunately our trip was during the horrible flood but Vicky made sure to keep us aware of current flooding and was only a phone call away! We spent most of our time on the back porch watching deer right in the backyard or playing games. At night we had the best view of a beautiful sunset and fireworks. We travel to new braunfels every summer and are hoping to make this house a yearly retreat!

Amazing Stay!

We chose this home due to the location, and it being close to family members who live in the neighborhood. We are SO GLAD WE DID! The layout of this home is perfect for multi-generational families. The setting feels very private with no real visible neighbors. The house has everything you might need for your stay, with a fully stocked kitchen and plenty of activities to choose from like corn hole and ladder golf, as well as puzzles and card games. We had deer in the yard every day, and amazing views for the thunderstorms that passed through. The house was clean and well kept and we all slept comfortably! We would definitely choose this location again!

Comfortable stay with lots to do

We had several adults and a handful of kids. There were plenty of games and space for everyone to enjoy themselves. The house was beautiful and definitely cared for. The kitchen was stocked, which made it easy to cook big family style meals. The big living room windows and nice outdoor porch let us enjoy the beautiful hill country views. We had a great stay and would highly recommend Hill Country Haven.

Fantastic second visit

This was the second stay at this property and it was just as awesome as the first visit. First of all, the home was perfect for our group of guys. There were more than enough beds for everyone. Even the beds in the bunkroom were super comfortable. The kitchen was clean and full of everything we needed for the meals we cooked. The best part was the outside space and the back patio. The views are fantastic. Vicky, the property owner, is very responsive and so easy to work with. I highly recommend this property. We will definitely be back!

Wedding Trip

The property was great and very well priced considering how nice and clean it was. We found they took time to make it entertaining as well (in/outdoor games, sound, tvs etc). The furniture was well thought out and comfortable. The outdoor space has amazing views and was great for hanging outside and plenty of covered space for hot days or rain. We had 8 adults, and the bunk area was pretty well laid out. We would definitely stay again.

Hill Country Haven HEAVEN

Our family of eight, aged 18-77, enjoyed a relaxing, beautiful, comfortable stay at Hill Country Haven. The home is packed with everything you could possibly need or want (including a high chair I saw in the laundry area). The water pressure is incredible…we all loved showering while we stayed here! lol The location is perfect, far enough out that you are in nature and can relax but close enough that a short drive gets you to shopping and hill country fun! Any questions we had were quickly answered in a friendly and polite manner. We 10/10 recommend this rental!

Beautiful!!!

This house is absolutely beautiful from the interior to the exterior. The view from the back patio is stunning! The house is very roomy. The owners are quick to respond and gives you all the information that you may need. It’s a perfect spot to stay at, easy to get to, and not far from the Guadalupe River. Will definitely stay here again in the future!
