The Comal River had flooded so we headed to Schlitterbahn for the first two days. By day three the river had gone down to safe level to float. There is a great 20 minute run from the condo grounds, through a chute and exit to the right. One block walk back to the condo. We did it 4-5 times and kids never got tired. The condo was clean and efficient. Well-decorated and appointed with kitchen utensils. The BBQ grills along the river were nice. Bring your own charcoal, scraper and grilling utensils. It was beautiful inside and out. The surroundings were secure and private. We were able to start the float trip and stop at our property about an hour into the float. Perfect to re up on snacks and drinks. After the float trip we were able to relax right on the river. Amazing location, property and people. The office where we picked up the codes and bracelets was staffed by the most friendly people. We can’t wait to go back. What an amazing time. If you’re considering this place to stay, go for it!
