The house is always clean and well-stocked. The owner is very helpful. And you cant beat the location! The river access is priceless! I do have a suggestion, if possible Change the box springs in the rooms with queen size beds, they squeaked really loud I don’t think it was the Mattresses I’m guessing the box spring, it was a nuisance. We had family and friends over for New Years Eve and the next day to watch football. It was a perfect location. Plenty of room to spread out. The house was clean and roomie, we had the patio area where the young professionals played games. The water view was beautiful and relaxing. A nice fire pit to sit around in the evenings. Our dogs could walk around or go out further to swim. We could easily drive to get groceries or short drive into Gruene. House was beautiful and smelled so good when we checked in. It’s walking distance to the Rio if you want to float. Rio took us to the top of the Horseshoe and we floated directly back to the house. The house has river front access that is perfect for setting up and spending the day relaxing in the river! The house was well stocked and accommodated 6 adults very comfortably. The only complaint was that the outside was very uncomfortable and full of dust, leaves and debris. No cushions to sit on. We booked this location to spend time outside. Property needs to be updated, and cleaned thoroughly.
