The Sanderling Tiny Cabin Water Access/Private Shared dock

Only six minutes to historic downtown New Bern. The Sanderling is a tiny cabin ideal for a couple or a family of 3 or 4. PLEASE NOTE THIS IS A TINY CABIN WITH SLEEPING LOFTS. YOU MUST CLIMB A LADDER TO GET IN THE LOFTS. One Queen bed loft, one twin bed loft and one twin bed in living area. Full attached bath. The cabin is nestled on a pine grove lot with access to a SHARED private dock on deep water Brices Creek. Brices Creek flows into the Trent and Neuse Rivers and then out to the Atlantic Ocean. You are encouraged to use one of our kayaks to enjoy the water. Other activities include swimming, fishing, crabbing & boating. Don't miss a chance to cook a s'more over our large fire pit.
PLEASE NOTE THAT THE QUEEN BED AND ONE TWIN BED ARE IN LOFTS THAT REQUIRE RENTERS TO CLIMB LADDERS TO ACCESS THESE BEDS. THE LADDERS MAY BE DIFFICULT TO NEGOTIATE FOR OLDER ADULTS, PEOPLE WITH DISABILITIES AND SMALL CHILDREN. Also, there are a few other rental units nearby that may wish to use the fire pit and SHARED private dock. Please be respectful of other renters so everyone may enjoy their stay. Overall I believe you will find the property to be very peaceful.

Relaxation in New Bern

We where extremely happy with our stay the property is really nice. Kayaking though the cypress trees was beautiful I recommend this property we had a great time. It was a really nice break from life

Cozy cabin

We enjoyed the Sanderling so much. Clean, comfortable, and set in a picturesque location near the water. Convenient to town and other outdoor activity areas. Owner was super helpful and always responded immediately to requests. Highly recommend.

Thanksgiving Weekend

We enjoyed our stay in the comfy and cozy tiny house. It was exactly as described and portrayed in the pictures. The place was perfect for a couple and their dog. Although a shared property it was very quite and clean with plenty of room to walk the dog.

Great Time

We had a great time. Everyone was very nice and helpful. We took our boat and we needed help with it a couple of times and Jeff was great to help us! We enjoyed Dan he was very helpful also. It was a Great time and we will be going back for sure!! Everyone was so friendly and helpful!! GREAT EXPERIENCE
