This home is the perfect getaway for us. Charles and Mary were the perfect host and always responded to any questions both before and during our stay. The home is lovely. The living room is quite generous, as is the kitchen. The bathroom features a lovely walk in shower. When Charles and Mary had this revamped they did a tremendous job in tying in the historic features but providing modern luxury. The induction range was a surprise and since I love to cook it proved to be a real treat. Probably one of the most important thing to my husband and me is Location. This was the best spot we ever stayed at. We could easily access the river walk; was walkable to every wonderful restaurant in New Bern, could enjoy the beauty of the historic homes...and the list goes on. Would I stay here again? You bet.
