Perfect Hotel
I always book this hotel when we are travelling through europe because we never know what time we will arrive and the way they do the checking in is brilliant...they leave the names of the people staying on the board with the number of your room....the keys are left in a bowl on the reception. This suits us perfectly. We cannot fault this hotel in any way, the rooms are comfy with everything that we need, they are very clean and the staff is so friendly...........nothing is too much trouble. I would recommend this hotel to anyone..............its in a beautiful spot, Germany on one side of the river and Austria on the other side............perfect for walkers, lovely scenary...

Ok for an overnight stay. The room was clean, it was big enough, the parking was safe, and the hotel is just a few hundred meters away from a bridge leading to a little charming town i Austria.

Good value and location
Interesting stay. We arrived to the local fire department running a drill at the hotel which involved hoses and a fog machine setup to simulate a fire in the basement. Had to wait for the trucks to clear to be able to park. Room was average but the location and the breakfast was very nice. Definitely take an hour to go across the river to Sharding, Austria and walk around (4 minutes walk from the hotel). Very cool old walled city with moat and fortifications. Staff were very friendly and trying hard to please.

Quick stop hotel, close to highway, basic but nice
We notified the hotel that we would arrive late, so in that case they leave the key at the front desk since there is no one there in the evenings. We arrived at 10:30 pm. The hotel is a bit difficult to find in the evening, in the dark, but there are small signs directing you there if you look for them! The key was waiting for us. The family room was very large, plenty of space, nice cabinets and storage, and beds were comfortable. We were a bit disappointed that our room didn't have a full, standing shower, only a tub with a hand-held sprayer. But that was not that big of a deal since this was just a quick stopover location on our way to Vienna. In the morning, we had a standard breakfast with cold meats, cheeses, yogurt, soft-boiled eggs, breads, cereals, juices, tea, coffee. The woman working the desk and breakfast was super friendly and spoke with us for a long time. We were the only ones there the entire breakfast so it was quiet. Nice little place if you need a quick stopover, not too far off the highway.

On the river!
We stayed here on New years eve and it was a beautiful setting on the Inn river near Passau Germany, about 30 minutes away.The location was the best thing about this place. There was no warm bodies to greet us at reception rather our key sitting in a bowl with our name listed for a specific room. The place was old and run down and we didn't even have a curtain we could close easily for privacy. The maids almost hit us in the head dropping towels down 3-4 flights of stairs into their laundry hamper sitting in the reception area. The breakfast was ok but not great. we were there by 9:30, with breakfast closing at 10am and they had already ran out of food items for us. The price was only 65 euros and so we got what we paid for I think.

Pretty picture on website....pretty poor inside.
On arrival, no reception staff, self-sign-in. Told the hotel had a complete refurb a few months back....perhaps the lobby...wasn't noticeable elsewhere. Took my husband an hour to get the fridge to work. The control was hanging on by a thread. Floor in room felt it hadn't been swept.Inhospitable cleaning staff. Wouldn't recommend this place to anyone, couldn't leave quickly enough!

One night stop.
Overnight stop-off with my two teenage sons. Room was clean, three single beds, it was however very hot and no aircon. Even with the window open (church bells striking hourly were another serene annoyance) the room was very hot. Restaurant adjacent to hotel was excellent value and the breakfast in the morning was very good too. The hotel overlooks the river that borders Germany and Austria and is in a beautiful location.

Nice, quiet hotel, near Schärding
We stayed one night to pause our long road trip. The hotel is in a very quiet place a few minutes drive from the A3. The river Inn and Schärding is in walking distance. The room was clean, good for the price, with a comfortable, big bed and private balcony. There is no air conditioner in the room but the place is so quiet, we had a very good night sleep with the balcony door open. The staff is friendly, the breakfast is good.

We arrived and the room had a strong paint smell but the hotel staff was kind to switch to a better room. There isnt a lot of restaurants around and the only one was a bit of a disappointment.

Simple rooms with 4 single beds and en suite, ours with balcony and bathtub. Breakfast ok. Great price. Skip the neighboring restaurant and go to the local beer garden near the Sparkase. Wonderful beer. Cheap good food.

Good value proposition hotel. You get what you pay for. Worse rating for location as we did not found the way to hotel parking for the first time. It would help to add some signs. In addition, WIFI was not accessible, as anywhere was written what is the PSW. But breakfast were nice and tasty.

Great location. 2 star hotel of the good kind.
It's a 2-star hotel, no question about it (old, slightly run-down building). But the rooms are clean and spacious, service is good and the breakfast is delightful on the patio with view. Nice location and close to the highway. Great value for the price. Tip: Don't miss the walk to Schärding over the bridge.

A nice hotel in a very very nice place!
I strongly recommend the hotel, since it's not far from the highway, and it's location is very nice: Next to the hotel there is a playground both for your and old, and next to it is the river Inn. On the other side of the river you can see the beautiful Austrian village of Schräding. There is a bridge close by where you can walk over.

Amazing value for money in a quiet location.
This is a superb, value-for-money experience. Loads of space and clean room. Comfortable beds. Nothing trendy, but a pleasant 'period' feel (1970s?) from old-fashioned, unpretentious decor. Friendly staff. Plenty of parking space. Nice restaurant adjacent from where you get the keys if you arrive in the evening - super food and good, local beer. First-rate location in little village on the German side of the river Inn looking over to the lovely Austrian town of Scharding which you can reach on foot in five minutes via the bridge. Amazing value; really nice people.

Hard to find - spacious but simple
It was not easy to find the hotel, some more signs would be useful as my GPS failed to find it based on the address. The rooms are very spacious but not overly equipped - 2 out of 4 beds had a reading lamp, for example. On the other hand, there was a small kitchen as well in the room, like in an apartment. Still not a bad place, nice location and good breakfast.

Wir waren nur für eine Nacht vor Ort. Leider waren wir auf Grund der Verkehrssituation relativ spät beim Check In und haben aus diesem Grund im benachbarten Lokal leider zwar noch Essen bekommen, war aber auf Grund des frühen Küchenschluss nur noch eine Pizza. Trotzdem Danke. Das Zimmer und auch das Frühstück waren für uns OK

Die Lage fast direkt am Inn direkt an der deutsch-österreichischen Grenze ist ganz wundervoll. Servicepersonal begegnet man nur am Morgen. Unser Zimmer hatte eine Küche, aber gar keinerlei (Koch)Geschirr und Besteck. Das Bad war ganz neu.
