Not only is the location perfect and tranquil but Jody is the perfect hostess. So friendly and welcoming. One thing we took advantage of is having no television reception which allowed us to have great conversations and to enjoy sitting on the front porch and outdoor swings. Great size and amenities, really great spot for our base. The hosts were amazing and there was a nice surprise for our arrival. The owners are super nice and even left us a fresh loaf of banana bread, which was delicious. The house is located in the middle of nowhere. Which was perfect for us. We enjoyed the rural area…beautiful scenery with many animal sitings. The owners are fantastic people, and are definitely available if needed but not going to encroach on your trip if not. We stayed at the simply farmhouse in Nemo. We couldn’t have had a better host who was concerned for us throughout our stay. The home sits on a beautiful piece of land and gave us access to both the north and the south Black Hills. There is plenty of parking as I towed a trailer with our Miata inside. I can’t say enough good about where we stayed, the location, the owners of the property, and the property itself. If you’re looking for a quiet relaxing place, this is it. Everything was as it was described on their listing. This house had everything we needed and then some and was very well decorated to make a person feel at home. Walking in and haveing a very nice personal note and fresh banana bread was the iceing on the cake for us.
