This recently renovated, luxurious Wintergreen home with Hot Tub, is located on a quiet street, on the side of the mountain w/ close proximity to both ski and hiking adventures. Our home is recently renovated by the owner, who is a retired custom home builder. The home is tastefully decorated with comfort and spaciousness in mind. The kitchen has new custom build cabinets, granite countertops, new stainless steel appliances, and furnished for in-house cooking for your family. The dining area comfortably seats 7 people and additional outdoor seating is available thru the sliding doors to the outside wrap-around deck, which also has a char-broil grill and hot tub. Our home has vaulted ceilings throughout including the family room which has a new gas fireplace, leather sofa and chair, as well as a copy of the original Jefferson Chair. Other home upgrades also include new floors, and central heat. Typically the mountain temps are cool and comfortable, however, if it gets too warm, we also have newly installed central A/C and ceiling fans through out the house to keep the house cool. The master bedroom has a king size bed, attached bathroom with granite countertop, new walk in shower and tile floor. The second bedroom w/ queen bed adjacent to the hall bathroom with granite countertop, walk-in shower and tile floors. Loft bedroom is tastefully furnished with a pull-out trundle bed(s) and comfortable Maxdivani folding sofa that easily converts to a queen size bed, which provides a spacious loft, while accommodating sleeping area up to 4 people. Our renovation also includes a large foyer/entrance with ample space for boots, jackets, helmets and shoes, while we ask you to store your snowboards, poles and skiis outside in the “ski closet” by the front door. (lock and keys provided). Following CDC guidelines we recommend that all guests remove shoes when entering the property and leave them in the foyer, we have provided the room specifically for this purpose. Although many of our quests love the peace and quiet of life in the mountains we have Wifi and a flatscreen (Smart TV) ready to be accessed to your Netflix, Amazon Prime or other accounts. In addition, we have several family friendly games and puzzles available. For your convenience, we provide a starter supply of paper towels, dish detergent, trash bags, antibacterial/hand soap, bath soap, shampoo and toilet paper. Also provided is coffee filters, tea, coffee, sugar and creamer. Due to the requirements of the COVID-19 cleaning protocol, please note that we have removed all throw blankets and decorative pillows, and replaced them with washable pillows. Washable cushions are also available for the patio furniture. For the winter ski season: our home is located approximately 200 yards from the lower Tyro Slope and has an access point 1/2 way down the Tyro slope. The hot tub was also clean and great for after the hikes we did each day. The kitchen was fully stocked and appliances worked great. We used the gas fireplace every night, it was easy, just flip a wall switch. Smart tv made it easy to sign into our accounts....we more than likely forgot to sign out of them, so remember to do that. The house accepts pets and was one of the only ones at Wintergreen that allowed cats which we were grateful for. The one bed off the living room is more firm; the bedroom off the kitchen had a bed that was more soft, and it was darker in the back which was nice for sleeping. Both bathrooms had plenty of products to use. The location was nice and quiet. It was nice being in the trees. A friend of mine stayed up on the ridge and for most of her stay she was clouded in, so kind of gamble if you pay for the view and don't get it. Their responsiveness eased my concerns right from the start, should we have needed them for anything else during our stay.What stood out to us were all the little comforts of home, like a well stocked kitchen full of every tool, utensil or container you might need. The chalet seemed very clean overall including the hot tub and grill. The owner provided a variety of soaps, cleaning supplies, waste bags for pets, towels, tea, coffee, propane for the grill and lots more I'm sure I'm forgetting.We will definitely consider coming back and recommend this to any family traveling to the area with or without a pet. ##### M L. The kids loved being able to hit the slopes across the street. The house was well stocked and clean. Loved the mudroom and hot tub. Seating at the table and the living room was a little tight but cozy. The fireplace was great for drying our gear since there is no washer and dryer. Beautiful views. The only two things I would suggest is leaving ice melt/salt for the stairs. They got icy after it rained and were quiet slippery. Also an extra drying rack would have been great since everyone was soaked after skiing in the rain. There was a lot that had to be dried. We hope to visit again. ##### Malinda W.
