My snorkeling experience was amazing. Enjoyed the Glass Bottom Boat ride, also had a great time on the sea "Sunset Cruise" all reasonable priced. Swam in a cave and saw the sun set near the famous Ricks Cafe. This was a Birthday I will never forget...Hats off to Negril Beach Club!!

Pros: On the beach plenty of beach chairs, bar at the beach, close to everything.
Cons: Different foods, was tired of Jerk chicken and pork
Liked the old times feel. Very laid back and friendly

EXCELLENT LOCATION - friendly, helpful staff

Posted 15-Jan-2016
Pros: Location, Location, Location. GREAT BEACH. And after all, I don't come to Negril to sit in my room. I come to enjoy the beach, ocean and sunshine.
Cons: Hotel needs new furnishings. While the rooms are very clean, furnishings and Tvs are like a throw back from the 70s.
Location: There is no better location than this. EVERYTHING you could possibly need during your stay is within walking distance.
Found this hotel when I needed a place to stay for a couple of nights and was very pleasantly surprised. The rooms are very simply furnished, nothing at all extravagant, old TV that barely worked, beds that were very old, but still slept ok. For me, the most important thing was that the room and bathroom and hotel were all very, very clean, despite the age. Clearly, this hotel needs a major overhaul at some point with new furnishings, but for now, it is super clean, the staff is friendly, and it has one of the nicest stretches of beach on 7 mile beach. For the price of a room here, it really is a value. You are literally a 15 minute walk from Rick's Cafe and the beach area the hotel is located in has lots and lots of places to eat and drink that are fantastic and at great prices.

Great location..easy beach access

Posted 3-Nov-2015
I have stayed here twice in the past and it was good..Always great and helpful staff, clean rooms everyday with all the basics you need.My ac stopped working this time but I was given another room immediately which was nice..The bed was hard as a rock though..so that was the only downer..Also the food in the onsite restaurant had gone downhill..but lots of eateries nearby. No WiFi in the rooms you have to go to lobby for internet. They to have great security 24/7 which is a bonus. All in all not bad for a budget hotel..and I had a kitchen so I could Cook if I wanted to.If you're looking for a quiet peaceful place on the beach this is a good find for the price.

If there's nothing else, not a bad option!

Pros: Balcony eating area.
Cons: The hotel needs remodling, looks rundown.
The pictures of this hotel do not match the actual accommodations. The AC, a necessity when staying in Negril most of the time of the year, did not have a remote to control the settings. While it kept it cool not at a cold enough level most of the time. The place and especially the rooms looks a little run down. For me, having stayed at smaller resorts in Jamaica, I was uncomfortable staying at such a large place. There was rust spots and black spots in the bathroom almost everywhere. The best was super worn out to the point I felt a spring in my side. It is a nice size room an maybe there are nicer rooms beach side that make the balcony area worth it but there are most definitely better economy places to stay at.

Acceptable.

Wouldn't recommend for the younger generation. Wifi was out the entire time and the staff did not seem to do anything about it, and many of the guests were trying to conduct business during their stay. Also, a lot of amenities listed on the site were not available in the room (dishes and cooking ware). Also, the rooms were very outdated overall.
