Older hotel but comfortable with an amazing beach.

Enjoyed our stay and will definitely return. Friendly staff and helpful. Best beach in negril, walk to all. Safe. Bring a beach towel. Hotel does not provide more than basic service. Restaurant on site not very good but many close by to walk to. Friendly basic bar for cold beer and soda.

Great place to stay in Negril

Posted 11-Mar-2016
Pros: Location on the beach, walking distance to food, markets, and entertainment, clean relaxing hot tub.
Cons: Add a microwave to the non-apartment roooms.
Location: Anything you want is within walking distance. i rarely needed a cab ride.
The staff was very accommodating to any requests made. The beach was beautiful, garden was impeccable, the hot tub was FANTASTIC. I will definitely stay again and again.

Photos were deceiving

We spent extra money to upgrade to a room with a kitchen. The kitchen was the size of a small closet. There was no counter and while there was a sink, there was no hot water to it. There was only a hot plate to cook on. The general condition of the hotel was run down. We will find another hotel for our next visit.

It was aawwfull!! False and misleading advertising!!!! Sewage smell unbearable. No utensils. Hot plate (two-burner) takes over an hour to boil two cups of water. Only one burner worked. Water barely flows from shower. Would not recommend this place to my worst enemy.

Pros: Closeness to Beach and friendly staff. Special shout out to JOAN at the Front Desk. she made me feel welcome from the time I arrived until my departur
Cons: Music please play more Reggae music. Sorry but I didn't travel all the way to JA to hear American Music. Some fresh paint and up to date comforters!!
Location: My snorkeling experience was amazing. Enjoyed the Glass Bottom Boat ride, also had a great time on the sea "Sunset Cruise" all reasonable priced. Swam
My snorkeling experience was amazing. Enjoyed the Glass Bottom Boat ride, also had a great time on the sea "Sunset Cruise" all reasonable priced. Swam in a cave and saw the sun set near the famous Ricks Cafe. This was a Birthday I will never forget...Hats off to Negril Beach Club!!

EXCELLENT LOCATION - friendly, helpful staff

Posted 15-Jan-2016
Pros: Location, Location, Location. GREAT BEACH. And after all, I don't come to Negril to sit in my room. I come to enjoy the beach, ocean and sunshine.
Cons: Hotel needs new furnishings. While the rooms are very clean, furnishings and Tvs are like a throw back from the 70s.
Location: There is no better location than this. EVERYTHING you could possibly need during your stay is within walking distance.
Found this hotel when I needed a place to stay for a couple of nights and was very pleasantly surprised. The rooms are very simply furnished, nothing at all extravagant, old TV that barely worked, beds that were very old, but still slept ok. For me, the most important thing was that the room and bathroom and hotel were all very, very clean, despite the age. Clearly, this hotel needs a major overhaul at some point with new furnishings, but for now, it is super clean, the staff is friendly, and it has one of the nicest stretches of beach on 7 mile beach. For the price of a room here, it really is a value. You are literally a 15 minute walk from Rick's Cafe and the beach area the hotel is located in has lots and lots of places to eat and drink that are fantastic and at great prices.
