Nestled on a stunning 5.5-acre wooded lot, our log cabin offers a perfect blend of comfort and adventure, making it an ideal getaway for families and friends. The location puts year-round adventure at your doorstep: boat, fish or paddle straight from the property, then explore the 44,000-acre Necedah National Wildlife Refuge, tee off at nearby Sand Valley, hit the Ho-Chunk Casino (10 minutes), or treat the kids to Wisconsin Dells waterparks (45 minutes). Snowmobile and ATV trails, downhill skiing and state-park hiking keep the itinerary full no matter the season. \*\*\*WIFI \*\*\*Pet Friendly, $150 per pet per stay \*\*\*\*Woodshed - help yourself \*\*\*\*Central Air \*\*\*\*Attention - The shoreline is owned by the Wisconsin River Power Company and the walk path along the lake is public land to be used for hiking. There is a nice sandy beach with no shoreline rocks just north of the cabin lot and a short walk from the backyard. This beach area can be used to load the boat or park during the day. Leaving the boat unattended is not recommended due to the changing lake winds. You will need to trailer your watercraft each evening since there is no overnight docking on the beach. The cabin property has plenty of space for trailer parking and the nearest public boat launch is just minutes away at Wilderness Park. The cottage has everything you could possible need and then some! Jul 10, 2023 #### Arbor Shores Cabin was nice and roomy for our party of 10 adults, however, dusting the cobwebs out and replacing the burned out light bulbs would have made the cabin nicer. Check to make sure the heating vents are open in the basement otherwise it gets very cold down there. Be sure to thoroughly inspect and note every little detail of any potential damage upon arrival. The light is very little different bulbs that do not work half, spiders everywhere, the cutlery looks like it is 100 years old, it is not cared for around, dog hair everywhere. Be careful with your money. it was the last visit to this house. be careful with your money and go somewhere else. I do not recommend this scam to anyone, be careful. ##### RUSLAN Z. The listing was mostly as described. There is limited lake view from the house but access to a small nice swimming beach once you traverse some rocks to get there. There are beach chairs available in the house. Nice sandy beach and clean enough to swim (some algae in lake in general). There is a nice wooded driveway as you enter the property, with raspberries for picking, a playset for toddlers, and parking for several cars by the house. There is a nice outdoor fire ring. In case not clear to others, note that one of the bedrooms listed is really just an open loft with no sound protection. This was not ideal for our group arrangement. Two of the beds fell apart during our trip, one multiple times (slats falling out from underneath mattress and the posts coming apart since they are not bolted in place) -- we indicated to the owners which beds were problemmatic so hopefully that will not be an issue for future guests. Note that you need to bring towels not just for beach and bathing but also hand towels and dish towels. There was enough toilet paper but we needed to bring paper towels and tissues. The nearest convenience store is 15 min away and grocery store 25 min away. Lots of beautiful stars and very little noise pollution because of that, but need to plan ahead. The listing does not mention, but there are a number of items around that are good for little kids. Books, foam toys, puzzles, a high chair, sand toys. Helpful! ##### Bonnie E. The cabin was spacious, and could more than accommodate for a big group/family. The cabin was clean, and came with enough extras to entertain all.
