This is wothout doubt one of the best hotels we ever stayed in. We moved to another island after a week here and all we could talk about was this hotel! We pined for it... It was like home! The breakfast is super, the room was fabulous, so comfortable, so clean, so spacious and the staff were very attentive, friendly and informative. I could not recommemd this hotel highly enough. I am sure nobody could be disappointed with their stay here.

Better options closer to the beach - too near road
It's a nice building but right next to a VERY busy road, so you can hear traffic right through-out the hotel and down by pool side, so music playing all the time to cover it. Not relaxing. Room looked nice enough and very nice bathroom, but mattress was hard and room noisy from traffic even though I had a 'garden view' and not a road side room. I felt it was a bit soulless and I found a much nicer four star, closer to the beach, which was quieter, friendlier and more comfortable bed the following night. It was also about 30% cheaper!

Great stay here
Great location, near the beach and can easily walk into town. Great service at the hotel and especially around the pool with the 2 great bar men providing the drinks and great tunes.

The Porto Naxos hotel is a beautiful hotel on the edge of Naxos Town. It's an easy 10 minute walk into town, and there is a bus stop only a block away to get to other beaches etc. We borrowed the hotel's bikes for a trip to a beach, and loved the daily breakfasts where there was a huge variety of foods. The pool was beautiful and it was fun to get drinks at the pool bar. There is a little, cheap restaurant next door and a supermarket across the street. Super great location, and very friendly and helpful staff.

Clean, modern hotel
Very modern and clean hotel with an amazing breakfast and gorgeous pool area with a bar. It’s just outside the tourist area, so about a 7 minute walk to the local beach (which is very nice) and about 10-15 to the town/old town/harbor area. I walked everywhere locally but easy to rent a car for a day if you want to get out to the farther beaches. My room was very spacious and my terrace was even more so! Nice views of the island and the sea in the distance.

A great, comfortable place to stay in Naxos!
Porto Naxos is a beautiful hotel within walking distance to town and to the beach. The accommodations were very comfortable, a very large room with a big terrace to sit and enjoy the beautiful views. The breakfast was amazing! There was a big variety of pastries, eggs, fruit, cereal, something for everyone.

Great hotel
Great hotel, room was above the road which made it slightly noisy, otherwise it was great. One receptionist did not speak English very well, otherwise service was excellent. Pool bar was lovely and reasonably priced for cocktails.

The facility is first-rate and the staff wonderful. The hotel is a bit distant from the beach and town and located in a busy road that our room faced.

Great hotel. Good location, easy walking distance to main spots in Naxos. Room was clean and spacious. Pool area facilities were great. Hotel staff were very helpful and lovely. I would definitely stay there again.

Excellent hotel very close to the beaches and town
We used Expedia reviews to choose a hotel in Naxos and we hit a gem. Two storey hotel hidden in lush garden, palm trees and farmers fields on the edge of Chora. Spacious room, big bathroom, little private patio, hidden in palms and blossoming bushes. The hotel has a beautiful lobby, and is designed as a ancient Greek house with many open air passages and sitting area. Big garden surrounding the pool. The hotel has an exercise room, offers bicycle rental at no charge. Excellent breakfast in a beautiful settings. Staff was very helpful. It’s a 5 min. walk to the centre of the town with all restaurants and evening life, about 25 min. walk to the port along the boulevards. A nearby restaurant Naxos Grill offers delicious and inexpensive meals if you need something quick. We rode the bicycles from the hotel to Plaka Beach, about 8km, going through Ag. Prokopios and Ag Anna. Good restaurants along the road. Plaka Beach is sandy, with dunes, crystal clear water and stretches for kilometers. The umbrella and two chairs rental is 7-10€.

Great little hotel on the edge of town - not even 10 min walk into town. The pool area is great, staff really accommodating, big bedroom which could benefit from a few more finishing touches but overall a great, last minute find inNaxos

Luxurious rooms and a beautiful pool.
A very attractive hotel with lovely rooms, great comfy beds and a superb pool area. It is a little bit out of town but it’s a flat 20 ish mins walk to the centre with all the restaurants bars and bustle. Sadly there is not a restaurant available as advertised although the hotel staff told us the restaurant is where breakfast is served so IS a restaurant. The restaurant is there but is closed up. A pool bar menu is available part of the day, crepes, club sandwiches and salads. Breakfast is fine but not 4*. Previous visitors have mentioned the road noise but we didn’t find that an issue. When we arrived we were not given a twin room for our young adult kids as we had requested and were told with a shrug that requests can’t be honoured as the hotel was busy although we had booked months in advance. No way our 22 year old son was gong to sleep with his 19 year old sister, originally we were told that was just it but after a call to the hotel manager we were given an extra bed for the first night and a change of room for the rest of the stay.

Athena and her team were great. They arranged a pickup from the airport although we just advised them that morning. We had a room with a view of the island. The hotel is 200m from the beach - initially disappointed we were glad later because it is also out of the wind !!! Room was spacious - small balcony (Many rooms had large balconies great for summer) Good pool. It is early in the season and so breakfast staff were not yet into the swing of things but they were eager to please. Each breakfast included different homemade Greek pastries and cakes, but don't ask them for poached eggs. I was recovering from bad food in Athens and the 24 hr reception/room service was excellent. Professional and accommodating service, local knowledge, friendly - thoroughly happy to recommend.

Relaxing Retreat
Porto Naxos is a wonderful choice. It's on the edge of town, but less than a 10 minute walk to both the beach and the shops/restaurants, which means it's quiet and peaceful yet accessable. The pool area is perfect for complete relaxation and cooling off on a hot afternoon. Breakfast is full of options and the food is excellent. The staff couldn't be nicer and will help in any way possible. Rooms are nice with balconies and patios so that you can sit outside and watch Naxos life around you. Highly recommend.
