This is a very family friendly hotel. All the staff are very nice and love their breakfast buffet. Clean and comfortable.

Nice hotel
Great hotel, good breakfast. The only complaint is that the bathtub was VERY slippery and we all fell as we were getting out. Really not safe. Other than that the stay was very good.

Gets the essentials right
Novotel always does a great job of getting the essentials right and this one was no exception. Free parking and wifi, comfortable beds, helpful and friendly staff, quick and straightforward check in/out, good rates, decent buffet breakfast with a nice outdoor area and pool.

Novotel Pau France
We only stayed one night as it was a rest stop on our way back from Spain. Nice hotel, outside of town but didnt matter for us. Even though we checked in at around 5pm we made use of all the amenities like the pool and my sons favourite XBox 360 football game. Food in the area are crap and very expensive but food in France is generally expensive. Hotel has a free car park which is a bonus as we were driving. I would recommend.

Very nice hotel in Lescar with great staff
Good sized rooms for Europe and also has AC (several hotels in the area do not), the food during the week is very good (breakfast and dinner) and the hotel staff is extremely friendly and helpful. Staff pointed me to a good gym and has gave good recommendations about local wines and places to visit.

Good functional hotel, clean and well maintained. Location easy to get to, with good parking. In spite of proximity to major road hotel was quiet with good soundproofing Decent buffet breakfast and reasonable wifi Would stay there again if I was in the area.

Fine for business. Plenty of places to eat nearby albeit with a view of the road, but decent food. Hotel very comfortable, clean with friendly, helpful staff. Nice outdoor area. Pool was not open during the stay. Pau is about half an hour way on the bus, which is every 15-20 minutes, but worth a visit.

No hesitation to stay again
Travelling as one adult and two children, we found this property had plenty of positives. The kids loved the pool and the large grassed area to run around in, as well as the game station. I liked the fold out bedding, the separate toilet and the helpful staff. Everything was clean and the location was convenient for us because we were visiting friends nearby and there is a shopping mall right across the road with some food options as well as other kinds of shops. There is ample parking and we were not affected by any noise, either from within the hotel or from roads etc.

Our first visit to the area and in truth my expectations where of the UK’S Premier inn(another cookie cutter hotel doing what it says on the tin), but WOW! I was wrong! The hotel was spotless and tastefully decorated, the staff where helpful, efficient and well trained. That was all the staff a real credit to the hotel. The buffet breakfast again was above expections as was the dinner menu. All in all a great time had by all and great value for money! ! The only bad point of our visit was the local taxi company, their fares are very high! For a return journey to St manard was 180€!!!! The office claimed 100€!!

I first stayed at this hotel some 3 years ago and chose it again this time - by accident. Big improvement in the reception/ restaurant area, very modern and pleasant. Rooms are comfortable but layout is a little old fashioned with seperate Bathroom and WC. Breakfast overlooking the patio and pool couldn't be better - hope to get back when it's a little warmer!

Hotel undergoing refurbishment - avoid
The hotel confirmed my booking before we arrived but made no mention of the extensive refurbishments that were in hand at the hotel. Reception had been moved which meant that there were no lifts and we had heavy luggage to carry up stairs. We were not offered any assistance with this, which surely should be a priority. If I had been on my own, I would have had to look for another hotel. The restaurant was soulless and looked like a room just set up with tables. It was fine for breakfast, but I'm glad that we had time to look elsewhere for an evening meal!! Normally Novotel restaurants are good quality at reasonable prices. One to avoid until the work is completed.

Up to the expected Novotel standard. Lovely large, secluded, sheltered garden despite being surrounded by shopping mall. Aircon was ineffective but room was clean, well-appointed. Restaurant good - reasonably priced.

Établissement bien géré et calme. Dommage que les travaux de la terrasse n’aient pas été annoncés lors de la réservation car j’aurais certainement réservé ailleurs mais la météo n’était de toute façon pas propice à la baignade.
