We had an amazing time staying in Navarre! The house is incredibly spacious, spotless, and had everything we needed. The neighborhood was quiet with friendly neighbors, and the location couldn’t have been better—just minutes from a fun splash pad and park, 10 minutes to the beach, and Walmart is literally around the corner. The host was excellent and super accommodating. Bonus: we even saw a bear, which was an unforgettable surprise! Nestled in a peaceful, quiet area, it felt like a true escape from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. One of the highlights was its close proximity to the beach — just a short drive away, which made it easy to enjoy the best of both worlds: forest serenity and ocean breeze. The surroundings were incredibly calm and rejuvenating, perfect for morning coffee and evening strolls. To top it all off, I even saw a bear (from a safe distance!), which was an unforgettable experience and a reminder of just how close to nature this home really is. House is great, rooms are a good size and the kitchen is nice too cook in. Propain grill on the back pourch is good and the garage access for storing floats and paddleboards was really nice. The negatives.If your traveling with two cars the parking is a little tight. The light switches are illogically located, if you stay here you'll see what I mean.. The unit we stayed in was nice though the stairs are a bit steep. Also, was mislead to believe that there was a trail that we could use to get to the water. Pool was closed the entire stay so i had to pay for my daughter to swim elsewhere. Water damage in showers. Washer and dryer didn't work properly. Didnt find the beach or pool items until the last day and they were stuffed in a closet. Box fan was broken. Master bedroom was missing remote. Second bath tub didn't have a stopper so only one tub could be used. There was no welcome book like other places I've stayed to tell you about the area, where things are located in the house or where local things are to visit and I had to find the router to get the wifi password. Overall, this was not a good place to stay with my 6 year old daughter.
