Enjoy the best of both worlds, with proximity to restaurants, shops, and the Gulf of Mexico just outside your door. Ideal for families, nature lovers, and sun-worshippers alike, it’s the perfect getaway any time of year! Summerwind West 1003 is a beautiful tenth-floor condo with two bedrooms and two baths accommodating up to eight. Beautiful interiors and cozy furnishings set the stage for a peaceful and relaxing stay. Floor-to-ceiling windows in the living room and master suite showcase expansive views of beautiful Navarre Beach. Sink into the couch or loveseat in the living room, catch a movie on the large flat-screen TV, or simply open the doors and let the ocean breeze drift in. Your small party or large group will find room to spread out at the dining table or breakfast bar, and plenty of counter and cabinet space in the kitchen makes preparing, serving, and storing your favorite snacks and meals a breeze. Take in the breathtaking views from the master suite with a king-sized bed, flat-screen TV, and access to the private balcony, the perfect spot for catching the sunset. The guest suite is equally accommodating, with two queen-sized beds, a flat-screen TV, and an en suite bathroom. With four DVD players and a stereo, the whole family will be entertained indoors and out throughout your stay! A starter kit of amenities are provided for the first 24 hour period. Paper Towels, Roll of Toilet Paper per bathroom, 2 trash bags, travel size bathroom toiletries and kitchen amenities such as dishwasher pod, detergent etc. along with a washing machine Pod Lap up the summer sun poolside while the kids splash and play in the fresh outdoors. Afternoon strolls on our sandy beaches are a must before venturing out for some delicious seafood. The condo has beautiful beach views and direct beach access. We spotted different types of sea life daily: dolphins, stingrays and turtles. We enjoyed the benefit of having beach chairs that were included with our stay. While the condo was clean, it could use a deeper cleaning and some updates. I believe the listing states it’s 2 bedrooms, but it actually has an extra bedroom that was great for kids. Our friends so graciously let us have the room with the view! We were able to cook our meals and head down to the beach to claim our spot. The weather held out on our short stay, and we got one full beach day minus the water (double red flags). The company was responsive, and communicated well. Overall it was a wonderful long weekend, and a great first trip to Navarre! ##### Heather H. Jul 24, 2024 #### Needs Improvement I go to this area every year and for the price, this condo needs improvement. Right away we noticed mold in the ceiling on one room and the remote was broken. We only stayed 4 nights and the last night the batteries needed replaced in the master and was chirping the entire night. The elevator was broke and coming and going down 10 flights of stairs with stuff isn't ideal. The biggest issue is that there is no deadbolt or security lock on the front door on the inside. I traveled with a toddler, so it was nerve wracking that he could just open the front door and walk out. We ended up having to put two kitchen chairs in front of the door at night. Also, the main sliding door to the balcony did not lock.two big safety issues. Cons: no ice maker, no locks on the doors on the inside, the dryer took multiple cycles to dry, bathtub in the other bathroom drains slowly, also the bedrooms were really hot at night, I don’t think any of the tvs were smart tvs. Pros: close to the beach, clean, pools/hot tub nice, included beach chair/umbrella. Probably wouldn’t stay here again with little kids because of the locks. ##### Addie F. Tastefully decorated and everything worked except for the ice maker. On our first day, I reached out to management about the ice maker not working, and no response. I even got a text message asking how everything was going and responded asking for assistance on the ice maker, but no response. It sounds as though other visitors have had issues with the management and a lack of response. The bed in the master suite is lopsided and the remote control back kept falling off. We had to go to the grocery just to get ice. A complimentary bag would be nice. It seems that a condo with nice amenities would have this. Also, it would nice to have instructions for the multiple TV controllers & a channel guide. Appliances are outdated with a few problems. Dryer takes about 3 cycles to dry clothes, Oven temps are inconsistent & Dishwasher is not mounted to the cabinet and tends to fall out is you’re not alert ! All other thing were good. Tastefully decorated and everything worked except for the ice maker. On our first day, I reached out to management about the ice maker not working, and no response. I even got a text message asking how everything was going and responded asking for assistance on the ice maker, but no response. It sounds as though other visitors have had issues with the management and a lack of response. The bed in the master suite is lopsided and the remote control back kept falling off. Scenic Stays was quick to respond to the issue of no WIFI. It did take 24 hours to get someone to come to the condo. Ultimately, the owner needed to fix the issue.
