Pond Access & Courtesy: The fishing pond, located behind the farmhouse, is shared with another rental home. Follow the wooded path behind the house to reach the pond, located to your left as you exit the woods. Please respect the privacy of guests staying in the neighboring home and avoid venturing near their accommodations. Beds were very comfortable. A couple things would help for future possible stays. The porch lights would have been nice. It was pitch dark when we arrived and our mother wasn't comfortable with the lack of welcome and feeling of safety. There are no lamps in the main living room or most bedrooms. No reading lamps and the living room needs warmed up with a floor and table lamp. The windows were all unlocked which added to the creepy feel when we came in. The house was updated incredibly, all while maintaining the charm of an old farm house. The bedrooms were laid out so nicely, the extra pillows and blankets in each were great, and was nice to have tvs in each room. Extra touches like the nightlights in the bathrooms were much appreciated! We did not use the kitchen but it seemed stocked with everything one might want. Everything was great. It isn't the most quiet location wiith the nearby train tracks, but I only heard it go by a couple of times in 4 days. The online description was completely accurate. The property was clean, comfortable, cozy and included everything we needed and more!
