We asked to the receptionist then she changed our room immediately . We cooked for breakfast in the kitchen. The kitchen facilities are pretty convenient and nice and cleaned . Beds were comfortable. Couch under tv was not convenient. Bathroom was clean and large, however, there was a back door to a shared courtyard that had clear glass in front of the bathroom door. The kitchen was very small, had everything, but a cooktop. We had a very comfortable 2 night stay in the Jerusalem Suite with easy access to the kitchen shared with one other suite. We used the kitchen to self cater (as National Park has limited dining options and my partner is vegetarian) and made use of the oven and gas hob. We had the use of a fridge and the kitchen had all the pots, pans, utensils, etc needed for producing meals. Our room had a good sized bed, plus a sofa and table and a couple of dining chairs. A small wardrobe, but only three hangers. The en suite bathroom was also spacious with a large shower cubicle. Easy parking on site. We used the complementary laundry facilities to catch up on some washing. Very nice hosts, who offer to assist with arrangements for the Tongariro Crossing if you need this.
