This property is 4 miles from Nashville, wooded, and has an 8-acre fishing pond. The house includes one bedroom with a king-sized bed, one loft area with a queen-sized bed, and one full bath. There's also a smart television to log into all your streaming services! It's fully equipped to cook meals at home or go out on the porch around campfires. The kitchen is fully equipped to whip up your fresh catch or any meal you’d like! In the evening, curl up with your favorite book or watch your favorite shows on television. If the great outdoors is more your style, you can sit outside on the covered porch overlooking the pond or around a campfire under the stars! Rural Environment Notice Our cabins are located in the beautiful woods and countryside of Brown County, Indiana. While we provide routine professional pest control and keep our homes clean and well-maintained, guests may occasionally see seasonal pests such as mice, flies, lady beetles (Asian beetles), or stink bugs — especially in the fall and spring. These harmless insects are part of life in a rural setting. We do everything possible to minimize their presence and appreciate your understanding as part of the authentic Brown County experience! PET-FRIENDLY PROPERTY (small dogs only—no cats permitted): There is a $75 fee per pet. Moondance Vacation Homes proudly donates a portion to the Brown County Humane Society when you bring your pet and pay your pet fee. \*A Ring Doorbell monitors the parking at this property for security purposes.\* This cabin sits atop a hill at the end of an elevated driveway. The cabin is quaint and cozy. We especially loved the covered front porch with a relaxing view of the trees and lake. We ate all of our meals out there and played games while enjoying the beautiful scenery. We even were lucky enough to get to enjoy a group of baby birds slowly leave the nest (over the 3 days we were there) with the encouragement of both mother and father bird in one of the many bird houses hanging along the porch. The lake is beautiful and the little pontoon boat was fun and easy to operate. It was a little difficult for us old sisters (60-70yrs old) to wheel the marine battery down to the lake and back up on the dolly but we did it! It would be nice if there was a little golf cart available for renters to use to make it up and down the gravel road to the lake but that is our only suggestion. Very disappointed with our stay. This cabin not worth the amount charged. Pictures on website made the kitchen, dining table and living room appear very bright and beautiful. In reality it was like being in a dark cave. Many light bulbs missing or just not bright enough. No light above the kitchen sink. Very hard to wash the dishes and make sure they were clean. Blinds on window above the kitchen sink were filthy and the window had black mold on it. Hot tub was dirty. Outdoor cooking area shown on the website was full of trash and completely unusable. Both beds very uncomfortable and made sleeping very difficult. Two wheeled cart provided to help transport the battery to the pontoon boat had completely flat tires. The battery leaked battery acid out the top. Was not a sealed marine battery. On our last day we tried to sit on the porch but it was raining and the porch roof leaked in multiple spots. The furniture on the porch was very dirty and could not sit without cleaning it first. We had to turn off the pilot light to the fireplace because the house kept filling with gas smell making eyes water and throat hurt. Wish we had chosen a different place. ##### Jon and LouAnn L.
