You can access the alley from Grand Avenue or Tremont Avenue, which are located to the north and south of the property, respectively. The Neighborhood: 📍 About Music Row: Immerse yourself in the vibrant atmosphere of Music Row, the heart of Nashville’s music industry! Explore iconic recording studios, discover live music venues, and indulge in delicious Southern cuisine at nearby restaurants. With everything just a short stroll away, you’ll be right in the action of Music City! Getting Around: Many of our guests use Lyft or Uber to travel the short distances needed to get to the main attractions of Nashville, to include the famous Broadway strip. As with any city, there are peak hours, when everyone is traveling, the fees vary but the normal fee within a couple of miles is normally about $6 or so. Our property is also on a street with a dedicated bike lane, which is great for those looking to hop on one of the many Bird and Lyft scooters easily available on Music Row. The WeGo Public Transit provides hourly service between downtown and the airport seven days a week. One-way fares between the airport and downtown available $2-6\. In town, WeGo provides bus services in and out of downtown and throughout the city. All day, unlimited-ride passes are also available. Music City Central, the downtown transit station, is located at 400 Charlotte Avenue. Other Things to Note: 🕺 House Rules: No smoking inside the apartments (but feel free to enjoy the fresh air on the balcony!). My 14-year-old son and I stayed at The Vinyl while we were in town to catch his first major music concert - Coldplay - at Nissan Stadium in downtown Nashville. The city was packed for the concert and a major convention was also using up most of the downtown hotel room inventory, so we opted for a VRBO, and I'm so glad we did! The whole vinyl record aesthetic of the apartment was perfect for our father-son rock concert pilgrimage. It was centrally located away from the noise and traffic of downtown. We wandered down Music Row and explored all the city has to offer from Hattie B's Nashville Hot Chicken to delicious breakfast at Pancake Pantry! We also made a side trip to Columbia Records and the Gibson Garage. Our host, Christy, was very easy to communicate with, and helped me easily locate where to park. The accommodations were clean and consistent with the images online. While we didn't use the kitchen during our stay, it was stocked with some yummy snacks, which my son & I both enjoyed. The bed was particularly comfortable and after a long night of jumping around and dancing to the music, it was a welcome sight for both of us. The bathroom was clean and well stocked with toiletries. The shower was great (hot with plenty of water pressure) and also had a bench seat for me to sit and rest after a full day of trying to keep up with a teenager. Also, the bath towels were HUGE and smelled very nice! I really loved having a large streaming TV so that I could watch my football games. Easy check-in was also a plus. Clean property with nice little touches that go a long way.
