First time in Nashville
This was our first time in Nashville, and we were wanted a place with space for all of us and lots of outdoor options. This house has a hot tub, amazing fishing (we caught blue gill, catfish, bass, sheepshead), and the pool was incredible! We also kayaked down the Cumberland River, and it was peaceful abs beautiful. We spent the first 2 days relaxing at house before going downtown Nashville for the 4th of July fireworks, which were definitely worth the trip! The house was about a 30 minute drive to Nashville but the drive was was very scenic, although the roads were windy and hilly. Overall, amazing stay at this property and in Nashville. Would recommend!

Property was nice... About 30 mins drive time to downtown Nashville.
Property was nice... Clean... And mostly as described. Was described as 5 bedrooms... I'd say it really has 3 true bedrooms. Other is office converted and game room pull out couch bed. Couldn't find the master bedroom TV remote and my friends staying in the main level rooms and game room had to all shower in the master bedroom bath.... the other is just a half bath. Meaning whoever sleeps in master needs to be up early. Upstairs has another bathroom but the guest staying upstairs need that one. Pictures show pool and hot tub... we could not get hot tub to heat but the pool was pleasant. Overall a nice house right on the Cumberland river and has some good touches. A little far from Broadway Street in Nashville but nice to be on the water and away from traffic/ppl.

Nice house and great pool!
House was nice with fully stocked kitchen. But the air doesn’t work well to upper levels and should be serviced or bring a fan in hot months!! Also no TV in upstairs bedrooms. The outdoor kitchen outside pool is pretty much non-working(grill pictured doesn’t work and sink was clogged with leaves) and 3 barstool Tops were broke off. The hot tub in the pool doesn’t work, the one you use is under the back porch which is a small basic hot tub. The bushes are so long they are sticking through the deck boards and garden is overgrown. The kids loved the game room and fishing in the creek. The pool was by far our favorite thing to flat around all day!! Final impression was a nice place to stay outside Nashville with a pool, just a few maintenance of property issues that should be tended to for this price of Vrbo, that were not expected based on previous pictures or noted in description of property.

Great Place for Kids
We had a blast with 2 family’s and 5 kids under 12. The space inside is great for a large group. Kitchen is fantastic and well stocked. Tons of fun games in the basement. And the best part was the amazing pool!!

Beautiful home, awesome scenery, horrible check in.
Was never given check in instructions so upon arrival we were stuck outside for about 30 mins… Owner was also not answering so had to contact VRBO to get him… Aside from that, the home was amazing and the river in the back is a huge plus! Lots of great things here with plenty space. I would love to revisit during the summer to use the awesome pool. Pretty lengthy drive to downtown. ENSURE check in instructions before arrival!!

We paid for a luxurious lakeside retreat but we were completely lied to.
THIS IS IN SHORT HAND DUE TO WORD LIMITS. Know if you rent a place and you’re not happy its too late to ask VRBO to help. At arrival we noted numerous issues. We are traveling with a toddler. It was raining, prev. been at a conference/nice hotel. It was 2 hours to property (raining/ toddler time). All were excited for this part of trip. All heart broken when arrived. Nothing as advertised, place was unclean, not kept up, dirty and overgrown. There’s numerous maintenance/privacy issues that were not safe for the toddler or for me with ortho/neuro issues. Contacted VRBO they indicated we had to speak wth Dan (owner). I emailed with list of issues, he asked us to call. During talk Dan admitted he had not been to property (he lives in the house adjacent to rental) in a few weeks, said “he did not want us to be unhappy and if we did not leave a bad review he would refund our money”. He asked that we message when we left & he would initiate refund which I did. We had to find scramble for another place to stay. Important, this home was our vacation we had no plans to do tourist stuff so to leave with a toddler @ 3 pm was difficult. It changed everything for this trip. That is HOW BAD the property was. This entire process took an entire day. 1.5+ hrs later Dan emailed reneging on what he said to my husband. He said he was sorry we were not happy but he would only refund a few hundred dollars. Then began the VRBO rhetoric; as he has to be shown to try to accommodate us he says “lets meet the following day so we can do a walk-through of the property”. I provided a list of issues in my previous messages that we needed addressed to feel comfortable to stay there. We had 5 days left of the vacation & we already wasted 1 & he wanted us to waste another with a walk through. I asked to be advised when he addressed our concerns and we could then talk. Again, playing the VRBO game he messaged the following day saying he was at the property wanting to do the walk-through. As a last ditch effort he said we could stay at his house next door and use the facilities for the full money. Unfortunately the pool isn’t safe for a toddler. Dan wrecked the vacation and VRBO not was not helpful. Dan knows understands we will take legal action if indicated. If you want a full explanation/pictures email me at: screwedoutofvacation@gmail.com. Be warned this man, he is unscrupulous and knows how to play the game. This place is not worth what he is asking.

It is a nice place to stay. There was plenty of room to stay for 10 people. 7 adults 3 kids. The pool was nice and had plenty of room. We also enjoyed the game room. We will try to make it back.

A wonderful family vacation!
This property is absolutely beautiful and located right on the river. The private pool is like having your own resort style pool. It has 2 waterfalls and is HUGE. 2 Kayaks are provided and they were an absolute hit with our family. The house itself has plenty of space, has all the utensils/cooking items you could need and is a very short drive from town. The owner, Dan, was fantastic to deal with. He’s extremely attentive to any needs you may have and is very professional. Thank you for a great vacation, Dan! Adam and Katie
