As you walk in the front door you will be welcomed by an open concept living room, dining room, kitchen, so you can enjoy your family time together. The newly tiled bath with soapstone vanity, the large walk in shower and luxury linens, are there to pamper you, after a long day of enjoying your out and about time! Choose the bedroom with king sized bed or queen sized bed for a restful night on plush bedding and linens. ( cottage is less than 1 mile from the downtown area) Downtown Franklin is known for all it's unique shops, restaurants, tours, antiquing, historical sights, live music venues, playhouse, Civil War sites, etc. and about the friendliest folks you will meet anywhere. Be sure to save some time for visiting the quaint little Village of Leiper's Fork located about 8 miles west of downtown Franklin, for another big surprise or should I say treat. It's like a step back in time where more of the friendly southern hospitality will welcome you to the Village....antiquing, art galleries, restaurants, live music most every Thurs , Fri, Sat, Sun. If you want to venture to downtown Nashville it is approximately 20 miles North of Franklin taking I-65 N. Lots to do there too! Most windows don’t have screens , so had to keep AC on. Didn’t want to let in bugs or critters. Living room furniture wish they had some sort of recliners.beds are comfortable though. The house was all that I had hoped for and more. It was extremely clean, well furnished and in very close proximity to all that Franklin has to offer! Carter House and Lotz House are within easy and quick walking distance, and other locations are a brief car ride away at most. Thank you again so very much!! ##### David J. Loved the beds and the bedding were very comfortable. Street was very quiet and private. Two reasons for the good rating and not the excellent were because of the cable was not very good and the internet would not work. Tried to log into our streaming service and it kept stopping and starting. If tv and internet is not important to you then I would sat it’s an excellent rating. One other thing, it says that town is walkable, which it is but it’s a longer walk than we could do especially in 90 degree heat. Again was no big deal it was an easy drive and had no issue finding free parking. ##### Frances B.
