Great front desk staff, 1 concierge very helpful,

Posted 26-Oct-2016
Pros: Most everything.
Cons: The poor lighting in the bathroom and the weird shower.
Location: Nashville small, so most hotels are very convenient to downtown.
I give it a 4 to 4.5 and would stay there again.

Great stay and convenient!

Posted 18-Oct-2016
Pros: Location mostly, clean.
It was a great location, could walk downtown, etc. Need a cab/uber/Lyft for the other attractions. Breakfast places nearby if you don't want to eat there, as well as pizza, etc.

It was OK...

Outside bar was excellent. Location was excellent. Decor was nice. Wasn't particularly clean. Parking was expensive. Overnight front desk staff not the best. Very loud.

Nice hotel in a great location

Posted 23-Sep-2016
Pros: The hotel is in a brilliant location with good facilities.
Cons: House keeping could have been slightly better but this is only a minor criticism.
Location: The Broadway with all the shops, bars and restaurants, Bridgestone arena, country music hall of fame, Titans stadium, river front.
We had 5 nights in the Doubletree downtown Nashville and found this to be a lovely hotel, the lobby and bar area were very welcoming along with friendly staff. the unintrusive live music in the bar every evening created a nice atmosphere and was a nice touch. The hotel is within easy walking distance to the Broadway but is slightly uphill on the way back. Breakfast was excellent with a really good choice of hot and cold food. I would happily stay here again.

Overall good but be careful at the valet entrance. The sidewalk dips and is covered in some sort of black turf which makes it hard to identify. My wife fell because she misjudged where the curb was. They should put a yellow caution strip at edge. The valet did not come to help but the hotel guest did whose vehicle was getting checking in. Thank goodness it was just a bruised knee and nothing worse. Also in our room on the second floor had mold around the top and sides of the window that could not be seen due to the draperies.
