The loft was secure and provided what we needed for our three night stay. Bathroom was large, shower pressure was nice, and I appreciated the full kitchen and squeaky clean appliances.The two detractors from the stay was that the highway noise heard in this unit was INCREDIBLY loud. It was like the walls were paper. Semis deploying their jake breaks and hot-rodding cars/motorcycles kept us up all night, even with headphones/earplugs in. I’m wondering if management could put a sound dampening film on the bedroom window, or at the very least provide a loud sound machine to help drown everything out. I would’ve appreciated a heads up prior to checking in so I could bring my own if needed.Secondly, there were multiple door issues. The bedroom door latch doesn’t actually catch, so impossible to keep closed and/or locked. And the door from the bathroom to the living space was so ill-fitting in the frame that it was impossible to close. It wanted to swing WIDE open, which made it so we had to barricade the door with a suitcase to keep it pulled closed(ish) for privacy during bathroom trips. This was a major privacy issue. When we tried to chat with vacasa management about the issue, it took over 5 minutes to get each chat reply from them and we finally gave up.A couple other small things: the bathroom vent fan didn’t seem to work, and the fridge water filter was lit up red in need of changing.Overall, we won’t choose this unit again, solely due to the highway noise.
