It features both wonderful indoor and outdoor spaces to gather with friends and family. While outside, you will love the stunning wrap-around porch with many rocking chairs to enjoy a coffee or glass of wine. If relaxation is what you are looking for, then settling into the hot tub at the end of the day will melt those sore muscles away, or if you’d like to rustle up some s’mores with the kids then the large fire pit is just a few steps away. A couple of additional outdoor features include a basketball net, grill and covered rear porte-cache. Moving inside you’ll find the rustic look of a Smokey Mountain Log Cabin. The kitchen, living and dining areas are all wide open spaces that flow together seamlessly with plenty of places to sit and relax. Additional rooms on the main floor include 2 large games rooms. One contains a pool table and a bar area, while the other features a foosball table, flat screen TV, cards/chess table, darts board, comfy futon and bookshelves with various games you are welcome to use during your stay. The laundry room and a full bathroom are also located on the ground floor. Upstairs features 5 large bedrooms with a variety of beds to accommodate multiple sleeping arrangements. There are also 2 full bathrooms on this floor. The rooms contain the following bed types: The master bedroom has a King sleigh bed and in it’s adjoining sitting room there are 2 day bed trundles with 2 twin mattresses a piece. Bedroom #2 is extremely large and has 2 Queen Beds Bedroom #3 is also a very large room and features 2 full-size bunk beds next to each other. Bedroom #4 is also on the enormous scale as bedroom sizes go and it features a King bed and a comfy couch. Bedroom #5 is a quaint room with a Queen size bed. All of our luxury beds and mattresses throughout the home were installed new in July 2021 along with all new linens and towels. In the past, the beds and mattresses had their quality questioned and we were happy to listen to the feedback. We hope you enjoy this wonderful upgrade! We are a 23 mile drive from Broadway which is mostly interstate miles so will take less than half an hour. Hendersonville amenities and Old Hickory Lake access is within 10 minutes from the house. The exterior of the cabin is monitored by security cameras. If any guests are found to have been walking on the roof, the security deposit will be forfeited. Yes, it happens! This is for your safety. Note: The driveway is long and steep. Tennessee weather can be unpredictable. While rare, during snow & ice it has the potential to become impassable. My friends and I booked this cabin to celebrate my 55th birthday, and it was very disappointing.Upon arrival, there was an active water leak being caught by a bucket, leaving only one usable shower for six people. Management initially questioned the issue and sent multiple repair groups over two days. Neither fireplace worked, several light switches did nothing, lighting was extremely dim, and many cabinets and doors would not close properly.We also dealt with sewer flies, stink bugs, and ladybugs throughout the stay, requiring us to keep food covered at all times. The floors were uneven with loose boards, creating tripping hazards, and the cabin appeared poorly maintained overall.Most concerning, the property looked very different from the photos—almost staged or outdated—which felt misleading. While the cabin has potential, the lack of maintenance and misrepresentation make it hard to recommend. The kitchen was large and well stocked with a long dining room table and the living room was comfortable and a nice size for our group. The two game rooms were nice but we didn’t use them much. We enjoyed the hot tub because it was a cold during our visit. The five bedrooms upstairs were large and comfortable, and worked well for our family. We did have some cool showers with not enough hot water, and there were lots of lady bugs in one of the rooms. The house is older and could use some maintenance and the windows were not clean. We all want to stay in one home where there were enough space for everyone to have their own bed, but was open to sharing rooms. This place was the perfect answer.The large living space, accommodated, social gathering, dining, drinking and even karaoke. There’s a separate room with the pool table and even another room with a game table. Although it was a typically icy in Nashville (Hendersonville) the outside features a large porch with many chairs, and after a fire pit and plenty of outdoor space. The washer dryer worked perfectly as in the dishwasher.We all have to share three bathrooms, but since we are family, it was fine. The bedding was comfortable and clean. The interiors are a bit dark- the pics make it seem brighter than it is and the wood floors have been covered with vinyl (unlike the photos). Front porch was amazing, hot tub was great, fire pit was wonderful. Check in was super easy and the property managers were easy to get ahold of and helpful. The house was clean, easy to find, and had plenty of space for our group of ten. Pool table, long dining room table for food and games, hot tub, fire pit, and a beautiful kitchen island for buffet set up. The fire pit has seating for 5 so bring extra chairs if you have a group. Authentic wood floors…no sneaking up on anyone with these squeaky floors. Kitchen was fully stocked. Enough plates and glasses for 20+. Double oven was a bonus. Game rooms were great but needed chairs for the poker/game table. Only shortcoming was the living room furniture was worn and broken down.
