Was our first time staying in a trailer. It was the perfect size. Had hot water. Loved the privacy a lot. Really nice yard. A close by cafe! Affordable too.
What I liked about the property was its location right in the heart of Naramata allowing us to literally do a walking-wine tour of the local wineries and that it had wifi included. On the down side, the shower and sink smelled bad when used. The trailer experience wasn't so nice in general and it isn't in a campground like Expedia suggests, its actually in a closed-in backyard. I admit that the term "campground" used in the Expedia page and the pictures of the nearby parks mixed in with the property pictures also mislead me to think it was in a campground. It was also quite hot with no use of the air con permitted except for an hour in the evening which blew out the fuse although it was quickly fixed with a phone call. Communication was also challenging sometimes, the real owner and operator was difficult to talk to directly and usually communicated to us through a proxy which would sometimes cause in a lag in communication. Lastly, I think the roughness of the accommodation overall would be more acceptable if weren't for the price. At that price, I would suggest spending just a little more and go somewhere that is an actual professionally run motel. In retrospect, I would have even opted to just stay in Penticiton instead if nothing more reasonable would have been available right in Naramata.
