The onsen was so relaxing. Nara Park is a short walk away. The whole property was once a historical villa, the garden of which is still part of the hotel. The food is excellent. The restaurant is in a separate building down the hill from the hotel. Nara Park is bordering the property, and you can walk to many of Nara's famous sites in 10 or 15 minutes if you're inclined to. The rooms are spacious and well designed (the hotel is only a few years old). Rooms have a large private onsen bath on the balcony.
