The room was clean on the surface, but a lot of dirt and cigarette ashes in the books and cranies. The AC unit made a high pitched noise at any speed or temperature, so we had it off most of the night, had to sleep with the windows open. There are no direct busses or train stations to this establishment so be weary of that when booking this hotel. It is also under a freeway which made walking to and from the hotel unsafe. The room was strange to say the least with a slot machine to gamble your remaining yen away while your wife sleeps. Lots of specialty items that are both free and can be purchased from a mini bar which made us a little uncomfortable. Several bodily fluids were stained across the headboard behind the pillow…we all know what it was.
