WORST HOTEL EVER
This hotel is located in a real bad area, garbage and graffiti everywhere . On a main and loud street, there was fireworks at midnight. The staff as non accommodating or friendly, the room where big which is fine, but the beds where SUPER uncomfortable, the mattress super hard, sheets old and rough, pillows on 2 flat an old, the phone of course didn’t work to call for more pillows. The bathrooms moldy and towels old. Hotels.com drop this hotel . This is the WORST HOTEL hotel I have stay at.

The property was shockingly bad, dirty every thing to floors, furniture, light fixtures, aircon never worked, after Complaining all they did was open the balcony doors which lit in the mosceetos, toilet was not screwed to the floor. I could go on and on. We have stayed in many dozens of hotels over the years and this is one of the worst if not the worst.

This was so disappointing. First, this hotel is NOT a 4 star. It is a 1 star. The staff is very nice, but the hotel needs a complete overhaul and people were smoking in the hallway - that is not acceptable. I would never recommend this place.

Naples
Near to the flagship Napoli museum. Rooms are dated but typical to Italian standards as observed in other Italian hotel. Rooms are big and staff are Friendly. Would definitely recommend if you want a hotel outside of of the tourist trap!

m sure it was a nice hotel once upon a time.
We were given a handicap room when we didn’t need it and other rooms seemed to be available. The bathroom smelled of urine and had a 3/4 roll of toilet paper only. the shower didn’t drain properly and would overflow the basin onto the floor. The shower did have incredible water pressure. The bed was very lumpy and hard. The ac didn’t have the remote to turn it on. The main door would push open if not padlocked. With no ac we were forced to leave the window open over a main road with constant traffic all night and mosquitos. We were surprised by the food at the hotel restaurant and the wait staff was very friendly. That meal was the best part of our stay.

Dear Customer, by law, every hotel must have a room for every 10 configured for disabled people. It is normal for it to happen to have one with this configuration even if it has not specifically requested it, the bathroom was perfect and the docci had to open in that way to allow the disabled person to enter the shower with the wheelchair. The hotel was a bit tired the walls in the rooms were scruffy and scuffed some of the furniture was broken and tired. It needs some TLC. saying that the rooms were clean, the sheets as well. Beds made each day and the toilet facilities clean and tidy. Food at breakfast buffet good with lots of choice. Staff friendly. Mostly other Italians staying not British tourists. For the price the hotel is rather good, but if you are looking for a real nice room and luxury its not that, but it's pretty good and value wise outstanding really. Close to airport and close to old city, a good location. I would stay again if I ever go to Naples again.

No tea and coffee facilities in the room. The place was very run down lots of items broken. The hotel is next to a petrol station so the hotel smells of petrol fumes. The breakfast was very poor and lots of meat was off. I would rate this hotel a 1star. The staff was excellent.

Dear Customer we regret that our hotel did not like it, we do not have a kettle in the room because by law we cannot have it but having the bar open it could always simply order it and it would arrive in the room. If you are looking for 5 star service at a 4 star hotel this is not the place for you. This hotel is in the heart of Naples and it's easily accessible to the bus line and close to the train station, also it is only15 minutes from the airport which is nice when you're looking to get around. This hotel was rated 4 stars when I did the my research but it is more 3 stars because the paint is stripping, the waiting area needs a new couch, and the entry needs a makeover. The building is old which was nice but the shower was extremely small and while it was clear that it was clean, it was not scrubbed so there was aged old dirt on the corners of the shower door. The pillows were a poor excuse and need to be changed and it was loud late at night (which was the fault of other inconsiderate guests not the hotel). The breakfast was okay, nothing to write home about and the picture they show of the hotel looks nothing like that. It does not look as bright and cheery from the outside like the image. Overall, I did like that the hotel was clean, the customer service was okay; not the worst I've had but not close to the best either.

The hotel has a superb location just far enough away from the Central Station to be quiet but a short walk to major attractions like the Archeological Museum. The rooms are simple and comfortable. The public areas are great by boutique hotel standards -- landscaped roof garden with panoramic views and a good perspective for fireworks over the harbor. The TV room and library is very classy. The breakfast was more than generous --unlimited portions from three buffets. Very clean, but almost clean like a hospital. HOWEVER, I would never stay in one of the rooms facing Via Foria because it is the main ambulance route to the central hospital. My room on the other side of the hotel was quiet all the time.

Wonderfully helpful staff: gave directions and help with buses to places we wanted to visit. Buffet breakfast was great. Position of hotel great for walking to major sites. Although we had a room overlooking busy Via Foria the triple shutters were soundproof. Air conditioning was excellent relief from 35 degrees outside

This property is not very well maintained. The bathroom shower door would not close all the way so you had to use your foot while showering to keep it closed. The worse part was the horrific sewage smell coming from the bathroom.

It was a beautiful room and the staff were so totally helpful and welcoming. We found Naples quite difficult, very hot and not many restaurants nearby, so we relied on the hotel for food and space and air conditioning! It turned a stressful holiday into a restful one. Great soundproofing, even on a busy Naples road so we slept well.

We had an early morning flight out of Naples that is why we stayed here. Front desk staff was helpful & pleasant. However, the noise of the guests was horrible! Was woken up many times through the night, fireworks going off, doors slamming, people yelling & laughing, not restful at all.

Nice position but very poor hotel
The position of this old hotel is good however the structure is very poor. The hotel is not 4 stars but 2 in my opinion but you pay a 4 stars city tax. Breakfast is awful, only poor continental food, service is also unfriendly. My room was big but very old and not look after. The Fire exit on my floor was obstructed at all the time.

Hotel staff was friendly and easy to chat with about the day. Had a Juliette balcony which was awesome, great air conditioning, noise cancelling sets of doors on the balcony, decent breakfast and a very positive atmosphere. Found key places an easy walk so location was great. Would recommend!

Lovely,quaint hotel with real old fashion charm
The Hotel is not close to the city centre, however, the closest metro Piazza Cavour was a good 5-6 min walk. If you wanted to walk to the Station, it would be a good 20 min but as there are roadworks taking place around the station and down Via Carbonara it can take a bit longer. The hotel itself is very quaint and on the busy via Fori. I did not find the reception staff as friendly or hospitable( maybe an Italian aloofness I'm not accustomed too) but I also did not interact with them much. The guy that waited during the breakfast run was much friendlier, polite and helpful. Breakfast was also good with cereal/ croissants ( called cornetto) and fresh fruit and yoghurt. what more can you ask for The room I had was cosy and clean and the bathroom had a good shower pressure which is what you require after roaming around all day. The room was at the back end so I didn't get much traffic noise only loud fireworks that went off the first night Definitely would recommend this hotel if you willing to walk a bit as there isn't much if beyond the hotel to the right unless you wish to see the botanical gardens which are on the road above.

Technically the hotel is nice, charming, spacious rooms and decently clean, it also includes a restaurant, in case you are tired and you want a quick bite, with delicious mozzarella and salads dishes. However, during spring time, the hotel is students's populated from elementary to high grades and it was not easy for me to have a decent sleep. Of course they have to have fun while they are in a trip visiting Naples! I stayed in Naples for work, and I choose this hotel for the strategic position, close to the office where I have to work. But I needed some rest while back in my hotel room and unfortunately that was not possible, with kids running around till late night... It is also not close to the subway, needs a nice 15-20 min walk, which is ok if you are not tired... Be aware they have a parking that charge very hight rates for it.. I may stay there again but not in spring time..

Nice place in a busy neighbourhood.
Enjoyed our stay at Orto Botanico, it comes across as trustworthy on first impressions, and takes up its place in a charmingly busy, crumbly part of Naples. Its staff are regular, earthy people who all aim to serve their guests, and its design is good all round. The breakfast was OK, all standard breakfast stuff, although I was perhaps hoping for a little better on the breakfast coffee.

The hotel staff were very helpful, the hotel itself was clean and comfy, the only downside was there was some traffic noise (where in Naples don't you get any. The roof top terrace was very good with a view of the botanical gardens. Will be going back again in 2018

Nice, convenient place in Naples
Location was marvelous , right across from Botanical garden which we enjoyed all morning. Safe street and direct to Archeological Museum also very close walking distance to many churches and important works of art within. Good Napolitani pizza close down the street. I thought property was charming with beautiful stained glass windows in stairwells. Rooftop terrace to get above it all. They called a cab at 3 am for the airport which came promptly and had a set fee of 17 E guaranteed by the hotel. The hotel prepared a breakfast bag for our departure.

Friendly staff, clean room and a great terrace
The staff were incredibly friendly. The rooms were large, clean and had air con and wifi. The rooms were very quiet due to excellent insulation. The 5th floor terrace provides panoramic views!

Lovely people going through hard times
Staff at the hotel are fine. However they are hamstrung by orders from above to 'save resources', it seems. We needed to ask for small bar of soap, and even a second towel for us as a couple. Breakfast -included is only worthwhile as the food immediately outside is not that good. Hotel is situated in an area that needs urgent upgrade just as the hotel. Street-food is not that how it is hyped up to be. Then there are fine dinning places available if you know how to find them and get there. The museum of archaeology not too far from the hotel and churches of all shapes and sizes are hidden preserves of a city in a struggle to keep itself together. Visits to Pompei & mount visuvis and at least a drive along amalfi costs are an escape.
