Newly renovated apartment located on the fifth floor of an elegant apartment building with elevator and doorman. The apartment consists of a living area furnished with a dining table, a double sofa bed and a TV set. In the same room is an open-plan kitchen equipped with a microwave, a kettle and a dishwasher. The sleeping area has two bedrooms both equipped with a queen-size bed, a desk, a wardrobe, and an ensuite bathroom with shower and hair dryer. \*Upon arrival or a few days before your arrival you may be required to pay a tourist tax, which varies according to local regulations. You will find your reservation details within the Guest Area of Wonderful Italy. "When you go to Naples you cry twice: when you arrive and when you leave," they say. Naples is a unique city, to be experienced by walking through the alleys, smelling the scent of gastronomic delicacies in the air, and admiring its rich artistic and monumental heritage. Naples has a distinctive culinary tradition for its famous Neapolitan pizza, and the art of its pizza makers has been declared an intangible heritage of humanity by UNESCO. Strolling through Spaccanapoli, the street that cuts the city in half, one traverses its thousand-year history thanks to the presence of ancient palaces and churches, such as the Duomo di Napoli and the Maschio Angioino. If there is one place that symbolizes Naples, it is Piazza del Plebiscito, now a symbol of the new 'Neapolitan Renaissance' where tourists come to admire its grandeur and two jewels: the neoclassical colonnade of the church of San Francesco di Paola and the Royal Palace. Today it is also possible to visit 'the underground city', or the so-called 'belly of Naples', which served the Neapolitans as a refuge during the bombing raids, where tourists can walk through the Greco-Roman aqueduct, the air-raid shelters, and finally visit the War Museum. Particularly to be noticed is the San Severo Chapel, which houses the sculpture of the Veiled Christ, one of the most fascinating and mysterious works to be seen in Naples, the work of Giuseppe Sanmartino. The check in was a bit lacking until Karin arrived to provide much better support. It is on the fifth floor of a good building in Chiaia, one of the best neighbourhoods of Naples. However, communication with the property manager, Wonderful Italy, was awful. We had an issue with the water drainage of the shower and it was never fixed during our stay of 3 nights. Also, I would have appreciated some bags for the rubbish and paper towels for the kitchen. Chaque chambre dispose de sa douche. La cuisine pourrait être mieux équipée : les verres sont usés et les couverts réduits au strict minimum. Il serai bien aussi d’y laisser les condiments tels que sel, poivre, huile sans avoir à les racheter. Enfin la décoration est un peu froide.
