The cleaning staff was excellent and provided excellent service every day of our stay. However, the staff at the front desk were not only not helpful, but denied several of our requests.
1. We asked to be moved to a room closer to the couple we came with and were denied. They told us all the rooms were booked; however, the parking lot was almost empty through our entire stay, we only saw 1 other couple in the dining room, and the rooms requested were dark and clearly NOT occupied for during our stay.
2. We requested 2 plates to take to our room and were denied. They told us they needed all their plates for the next day even after we told them we would return them later.
3. They didn't provide a toaster for breakfast but told us we could toast items by request. The first day, the accommodated us; however, the second day, they refused.
The owner should replace their front desk help. They are rude and are not inclined to help their guests. They seemed much more interested in looking at their phones than helping us. We will not be staying at this property again and we will advise others not do stay either.
