Staff was excellent. Great location and central to everything Yountville has to offer. Room was ok at best, somewhat worn and dated.

Fireplace, large rooms, double sinks in bathroom

Posted 6-Feb-2017
Pros: Staff, breakfast, large rooms, fireplace with log
Cons: No ideas
Location: Great restaurants in walking distance, drive 7 miles to shop in St Helena!
It was off season so staff was super helpful, NO crowds anywhere and a lovely experience. Breakfast has really healthy options and is included in the price, walking distance to at least 4 great restaurants and driving just a few miles to Mustard's and St Helena for shopping...Great value in the off season.

Beautiful hotel in a lovely little town

Posted 30-Jan-2017
From the minute I got to the hotel to the minute I left I was in heaven. The scenery was breathtakingly beautiful and the atmosphere was relaxing and inviting. The hotel grounds and rooms were impeccable. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. A big thank you to the wonderful concierge for getting us set us with a Alcatraz tour for our girls weekend. The complementary champagne breakfast buffet was amazing and the lovely bottle of wine, waiting for us in our room set the tone for the rest of our stay. Loved the food,we ordered from room service. We also enjoyed the aromatherapy massage at the spa. We will definitely be back for many more wonderful stays at the Villagio Inn & Spa and we will recommend it to all our friends and family in the meantime.

Great accommodations in heart of Napa Valley

Posted 29-Jan-2017
Pros: Very Comfortable accommodations and convenient location.
Villagio is located in the heart of the Napa Valley. Conveniently located in a walking area of Yountville. Easy access to great restaurants and shopping. Great because it is easy to access North Valley and South Valley Wineries. Very comfortable rooms. Great staff and wonderful breakfast buffet to start the day.

Hotel has gone downhill and is now cutting corners

Posted 30-Dec-2016
I have stayed at the Villagio in the past and the experience has definitely gotten much worse over the last year. They no longer offer complementary spa access for guests (require a $25 payment). They downgraded their in room coffee from Nespresso. The breakfast brunch use to have a much richer selection including Bloody Mary's and a waffle station. Their current breakfast offering is limited and comparable to a continental breakfast. Finally, the pool/spa water is of poor quality. My wife and I had significant skin irritation after spending just 15 minutes in the spa. I do not recommend this hotel to anyone especially since the cost is still very high while the quality has gone down significantly.

Great hotel

Posted 21-Dec-2016
Loved the stay at the hotel..right in the middle of everything ..walking distant to most of the great restaurants. Only annoying thing is that housekeeping knocked at least 4 times in the morning while i was trying to sleep...and i got up to answer the door and they were about to come in the room with their own key...i dont know if theres some sort of miscommunication with the house keepers but it would have been nice to be able to sleep in without anyone knocking every 30 minutes lol.

Cons: The heater/conditioner is way too loud.
The location is supreme. Lots of top restaurants in walking distance. One of the best parts of Napa Valley.

traffic noise. Dark rooms

Posted 29-Nov-2016
Restaurant staff is great. Lunch was good. Liked the included breakfast omelets and chefs. Woman at check in was grumpy. Rooms are dated. 1990's dark wood and carpet. Room very dark. We were more or less in the middle of the complex. Patio wasn't relaxing because of traffic noise from route 29
