$700 a night deserves more. Lobby furniture filthy and needs to be replaced. Baseboards around hotel broken, dented, dirty. Bathroom in room filthy- mold, cracking ceiling paint. Inattentive front desk staff. Just a mess! This diamond in the rough needs major tlc.

Make sure to use dead bolt and chain on the door at night. I woke up at 5 am one morning to find our hotel room door wide open. The second night I happen to be up very late working and someone tried to enter the room again - thankfully I had used the deadbolt and chain. It must be someone with key card access because the doors lock automatically from the outside when shut. Otherwise the hotel was fine. The women at the front desk and lobby were great and very friendly.

Weekend getaway
Perfect 3 day vacation. Excellent location, walking distance to town and Jetties Beach. Cute, quaint and just what we expected. Would stay here again.

Title: A Disastrous Stay Our stay at this hotel was far from pleasant. Upon check-in, we discovered our room hadn't been cleaned after the previous guests, a clear sign of disregard for guest comfort. When we sought assistance from the front desk, we were met with indifference and a lack of professionalism. We were told cleaning staff had left for the day, leaving us stuck with an unacceptable room. The hotel's proposed 'solution' was to move us to a smaller, inadequate room that could barely accommodate our group, compounding our discomfort. Yet, we were charged a high rate that was completely unjustified given the condition of the room and the service received. The most distressing aspect was the disrespect shown by hotel management. Our concerns were ignored, and our dissatisfaction was dismissed, making us feel undervalued as guests. This hotel fell short on all fundamental aspects of hospitality - cleanliness, service, and respect. I would caution future guests to consider other accommodations. Our experience at this hotel was deeply disappointing and far from the experience we had anticipated.

What I would say about Beachside is, don't stay here if you think you're going to get a Nantucket vacation at a reasonable cost. (If you consider $500/night reasonable, which I paid last weekend.) It's a motel. It's a little on the tired side. It is within walking distance of Jetties beach and downtown, but staying there made me a little sad.

Hello, I'd like to let you know that we have stayed with you in the past, Daffodil Weekend, 2022, and while we don't expect 5 Star Service or accommodations and your prices are less than most hotels for these high volume weekends, we rebooked for Stroll 2022. We felt the rooms were tolerable but did not have high expectations as it is a motel and you simply offer a very basic room with two beds and a shower. While we know Nantucket is extremely expensive, we DO expect CLEAN rooms and sanitary conditions. That said, we checked in on Friday and the shower and bathroom were not clean, at all. The first three pictures attached show random hairs left on the shower walls by the previous guest or housekeeper. Completely unacceptable. It was late and we needed to sleep so we 'sucked' it up and called the front desk Saturday morning to let them know things were not, at all, satisfactory in any sense of the word and they insisted that the housekeeping staff would take extra care of our room. The front desk clerk reassured me that the room would be fully serviced that day for our return on Saturday evening as we were out all day. They did also ask for our room number which I provided twice during the phone call. I have attached pictures illustrating the filth that still remained when we arrived back on Saturday evening. The only indication that the room had been serviced on Saturday was that the sheets/bed linens were replaced. In addition to the disgustingly dirty bathro

We paid $900/night for a not clean place (dirty baseboards, pretty sure they have a leak in the bathroom, saw silverfish bugs, and the bathroom tiles look marbled but it’s really just crusted on dirt)!

Some of the staff was friendly and helpful, but one at the front desk was reluctant about service and a bit corrective. I asked for face towels, and he rolled his eyes and seemed unhappy to get them, commenting that, "We call them wash cloths.". Not at all sure what that was about.. who's "we"?

Comfortable stay for one night
This stay was sufficient for an overnight trip. I wanted an early check in but they wouldn't accommodate. I'd be willing to pay an extra fee for early check in, just something to think about. I never saw the muffins that were offered complimentary. 15 min walk to the downtown area and beach. No complimentary beach chairs/towels. Overall, comfortable stay.
