Romantic, Two Blocks to Main Street and Water. Queen bedroom and Two Bathrooms.

The Middle House is a two-story gem two blocks from Main Street and two from the Inner Harbor. The bus station is two blocks away. Ferries are just four and six blocks away. The airport is just a bus or taxi away. If you have a car, we have one parking spot for you. Many, many guests are very happy without one. They walk, bike, bus, or rent a motorized or 4x4 vehicle. There are lots of options.

The outdoor space is shared with The Front House ID# 3421540. It has four Adironkdak Chairs, a grill, and a small picnic table. Each house has beach chairs and umbrellas provided for them. The grass is nice and thick here. The space is not very big, but no one has complained.

The galley kitchen is bright and open. A marble counter allows conversation between the cook and those in the lovely sitting area. There is just enough cooking equipment to make pasta, salad, steak, and egg meals. The four-burner stove, Meile dishwasher, two refrigerator and freezer drawers, and large farmers' sink make this an easy place to work in. Three stools on the counter make this a great workspace.

The living room and kitchen are downstairs. Two high-back chairs and a seat are centered around a coffee table. A smart television is mounted in this area. The loveseat opens up to become a pull-out bed.

The stairwell brings you upstairs to an open bedroom without a door. The two windows' water side allows the light to come in, and black-out shades make it lovely to sleep in. There is an eve in this upstairs bedroom where the bed lives. It's perfect for two end tables, a dresser, and a queen bed. A small closet is tucked in the corner.

The upstairs bathroom has bosch washer and dryer on one end and a glassed in shower in the other. The bathroom was rebuilt in 2023 with pebbled flooring in the glassed-in shower. There is a new vanity with a single sink and mounted magnifying mirror. It is quite pretty.

Two full bathrooms and a queen bedroom upstairs. The HVAC system cools and heats. Reading lights, books, games, Wifi, and a smart television are all provided. And the art! This is a clean and well-stocked magical spot for you.

Due to the shared space and a long-term guest who fears animals, we ask that you do not bring or have visiting animals on the property.

We have written a contract to ensure all guests in the three rentals have read and signed it. We have never had an issue and want to ensure that we can say that next season.

House Rules -
- No smoking anything on or in the property
- Quiet Hours: 10 pm to 8 am
- There are three parking spots. Please let me know what kind of car you have so I can assign the best spots.
- No blocking the driveway. The neighbors have the right to go out of the driveway right away.
- The contract is with the person on VRBO and myself. Please let me know how many are staying over, and understand that you will be responsible for their actions.
- We have a guest who is fearful of animals. Please do not host any pets.
- Trash and Recycling are very important on the island. I have posted Nantuckets protocols.
- If our cleaning or trash service team has to touch your trash and recycling, we will ask you to pay the bill.
- All trash and recycling need to be placed in clear plastic bags. No loose trash is to be thrown in the trash bins.
- If staying long-term, please let us know if you are leaving the island. We will just make our caretaker away in case of any weather.
