Charles, the owner, was incredibly welcoming—and meeting his sweet puppy Honey was a bonus highlight. The location was ideal, with easy access to the Nantucket Wave bus system, which made getting around the island a breeze. Inside, the home has a unique industrial-nautical charm that’s both stylish and cozy—thoughtfully designed with lots of character. This property is located in a great location - and the bus stop was across the street! The grocery store was only a few blocks away so we also walked there. The property itself was very comfortable, and the host was delightful to chat with. Any concerns we had were addressed immediately. Also worth noting: the owner lives on-site and did ask us to keep the noise down on Friday evening, so this may be something to keep in mind if your group plans to be social. Sound insulation is also limited—you can hear everything from upstairs, with noise typically starting around 7am.it suited us fine for a short weekend getaway. Lots of books, comfy beds, hot water in the shower even with three people taking showers in a row. TV worked flawlessly. Temps in unit were perfect throughout the stay. Plenty of blankets for the beds. Cons: a bit musty yet owners did well to have a dehumidifier in the unit. Lots of cobwebs in corners. Had to clean coffee pot before using—there is no dishwasher.
