Enjoy mornings on the slate terrace, take time out for sunbathing or an afternoon of reading.Evenings offer stargazers a clarity unique to Nantucket. Birds abound. The first floor plan is open, the furnishings and art collection selected by and for cognoscenti, and the kitchen designed by a serious cook. When day is done, there's a cozy, tucked away, sky lighted, first floor bedroom & adjacent bath offering privacy to a second couple. The second floor master bedroom suite includes a side room with day bed, foyer, and bath. Certain seasons birds stage themselves for breakfast amid the canopy of branches to the west. The location of the cottage could not have been better. We enjoyed walking into town multiple times a day, walking to the beach, and just wandering around the surrounding neighborhood. The cottage is obviously well loved. Beautiful oil paintings and the garden was something special. The yard is a beautiful verdant garden complete with baby bunnies. The cottage is beautiful to look at and is very comfortable. All amenities are in there.
