Not all the time, of course, but we loved having a glimpse of them when they grazed in the pasture beyond the fence. The other positive to the separate decks is following the sun, or avoiding it, you have the choice all day long.The house felt like a beautifully decorated ship, all beds and furniture extremely comfortable. We enjoyed two weeks on island with two of our three grown children, and sighed every time we looked out at the views. If I had to make a complaint, I would say the water pressure in the showers was a bit too strong. But, that's definitely better than not enough. We would absolutely stay here again. ##### Jill L. It really takes away from the quaint cottage feel. I asked the owners to please remove it as it is not in the images listed but they would not do so. The interior of the house is as shown and very clean but the exterior was not as well maintained. There were cobwebs on the exterior lanterns at the entrance and in the corners of the entrance area. The front door was also dirty. The view of Capaum Pond is beautiful but the deck itself and outdoor furniture is not well maintained. There is also not an outdoor or indoor dining table.
