Lovely Zac & Xiao Mi
We had a warm welcome as we met Zac & Xiao Mi (The pets of the owner). They are so friendly and adorable. We loved this place so much as it’s surrounded by greenery. The owner and staff are doing a really good job in order to make our stay Wonderful and memorable. We enjoyed our stay here. Definitely worth a stay here!

The positives outweigh the negatives. It depends on what you are looking for in a mountainside hotel. The view was very nice. The location was conveniently near the Ching Jing Farm and the Skywalk. Some OK restaurants nearby within walking distance. The staff was nice and helpful. The rooms we had were spacious and clean. The property was old and was upgraded with more modern amenities. No central heating; each bed had an electric blanket and that sufficed. The office was closed after 10 or so and didn't open till 7:30am. The room doors opened right out into the open air hallway so you had to be a little careful about bugs. Walls were very thin although didn't hear anything weird. Overall, pretty ok for the price. We had a party of 11 sharing 3 rooms and worked out to about $33USD/night per person. A bargain.

It is like a homestay with a very friendly owner. It help us to arrange transport and itinerary at there. They have a pet called "Xiao Mi" is very cute. The view from the homestay super nice as it is higher than qin qin cao yuan. It is a good place to stay and relax.

The place is just 3 minutes walk to 7-11, 10-15mins walk to qing qing cao yuan and the farm. Very convenient. Friendly host. Nice view at the garden. Worth the stay :)

Bad Experience Stay in Taiwan
We have 4 adult 2 kids, I try to put 4 adult 2 kids (3 years old and 5 years old) but website appear not available, but if only put 4 adult, there's available for the rooms so we booked 2 rooms with double bed. Reach there only know Kids below 4 years old have to charge extra TW400 (no extra bed), Kids above 4 years old extra charge TW800 (no extra bed). Means every kids from 0 years old have charges even though attached with parents. Think twice for those bring small kids, with the extra charges you can have many better choices. Somemore the breakfast is very simple, taste no good! NOT RECOMMENDED!

Between shower and toilet there is no divider, so when you finish a shower, the entire floor and toilet seat are all wet, I guess I was not use to this kind of bathroom. The day I was staying the hotel, the temperature was in low 50F at night, my room didn't have a heater but electric blanket was provided, it was uncomfortable to get up in the middle of the night and in the morning.

The Staff is friendly, the accommodation is near to the attractions in Cing Jing. After check-in, they offer to bring us down to green green grassland. The pathway to the hotel was very dark in the night. Breakfast is minimal but is alright for me. Overall the experience was a good one.

Beautiful scenery & surrounding. Hits & misses.
Scenery is great. Nice and detailed touches to the building, gardens, surrounding areas, etc. Pretty freaked out to be greeted by a palm-sized spider behind the toilet door. Informed the staff and he promptly removed it. Room, toilet and furnishings is pretty dated. Table lamp was not working. Room door opened to a pretty garden in the morning. Breakfast was a very simple buffet but windows look out to beautiful scenery. Service is good.

The villa is located quite a distance away from the main road (has to walk down a long slope). Not so noticeable from the main road. Would be quite troublesome without transport. the place is simple and basic, no frill. It will be good to put the Chinese name on the website. It took us quite some time to find the place.

Room quite big, tidy , with nice view . Villa owners were friendly. Delicious homemade breakfast been prepared. if there is a place can loading luggage to 2nd floor will be awesome instead of hand carry it via walking on staircase..

Friendly staffs and owner, water pressure is high make shower very comfortable. Breakfast are simple. Remember to bring touch light because the passageway from the main road is very dark at night. 3-5min walking distance to 7-11.

The host and staff are very nice. They give us much sightseeing advice and are always eager to help. As it is located at the upper side of Cing Jing, the transportation is not very convenient, the host offers us a free ride to the farm in order not to miss the show. The room is big, neat, clean and comfy. It's a bit cold at night, but heat mat is provided. Also, you can enjoy the stars outside the house during late night, which is awesome! The two dogs are very cute as well.

Quaint B&B at a quiet corner of cingjing.
Extremely friendly and helpful owners. My kids love to play with their two labrador retriever. The older one is very clever and you can play football with him. We booked the biggest room and its a duplex with 4 double beds. The size is really huge for just the four of us. The room is clean and well maintained. The only thing that can be added would be a heater. It's extremely cold at night when temperature drops to 5-6 °. Luckily they provide bed heaters so we can tuck ourselves on the bed. Nice overall experience.

But location is kind of hard to find. Best if they can put both English and Chinese signages to be placed higher along the main road so that first time visitors can see if clearly when they alight from the public bus. The lane down the hotel is very dark so it's hard to travel out of the place at night unless you have transportation.

Ok condition
The host is very friendly, we booked sunrise trip early in the morning, it was great. Hotel condition is just so so, I can hear people talking/TV in another room. There are actually plenty of hotels around. Free parking and free shuttle to Ching Homeland Resort.

Lovely surroundings.
Lovely minsu for sure. Mr Chen and his father are very helpful. The minsu is very clean and so close to nature. However, the minsu is a tad old and probably need some refurbishing and redecoration. Each room is huge, hence it will be better for family / groups who share a room as each room is too large for a single traveler. Beautiful surrounding.

Nice resort in Cingjing
Very pleasant environment and spacious room. Walking distance to Green green grassland and nearby attractions. Owner was most hospitable, kind and helpful to us when we met with a problem after an outdoor expedition. He also went out of the way to fetch us from the bus stop (when Okbus refused to send us down to the resort from the main road in the heavy rain).

Near cingjing farm but best is access by car.
Location: I booked a private driver, so all you need to do is just tell your driver the address and your driver will drive you over. Food: I'm a vegetarian but I didn't hassle my driver or the host. There's 7-11 along the way when you go from Taichung to the resort, so you can maybe dropby to buy cup noodle/biscuits to settle for the night. I reached about evening time (dinner time) and my host recommended a nearby restaurant to special cook vegetarian meal for me, but it was having really bad downpour so I dropped the idea. You can also have your own dinner in the restaurant if you want, just remember to inform early will do. Room: Spacious. I booked a double bed room for a night's stay with my friend. In the morning I can have a rather good view of the scenery.

Great cozy stay with friendly owners!
Overall we felt that it was a nice and homely stay at Ching Jing Homeland Resort Villa. The owner was really friendly and nice. He patiently explained to us the various ways to get around in the area and even came to fetch us when we could not find transportation back to the villa!! Really thankful for him as we were standing in the middle of the road at 6pm (which was pitch dark and we only had our phones as torchlight). However, the breakfast was not too much to our liking and there werent much selections. 7-11 is just a 5 mins walk away so everything was fine. We really enjoyed our stay there and I will definitely recommend this place to others!

Overall a good experience
The area surrounding the resort was beautiful. We booked a family Room with 4 beds and it was on the 4th floor. We had to climb stairs as there was no lifts. The hotel does not provide porter services; however when the lady boss saw that my dad was above 60 she asked her staff to help us with the luggage. Breakfast was basic. Room was good. The beds came with heaters so we could warm the beds first before sleeping.

Nice view and location
Very nice view, spacious room, great location uphill so we can travel downhills without any pains from walking. The staff is very informative. The room is clean but it is hard to use the heater in the room.
