"This Cross Hotel in Kyoto exceeded all expecations for what a hotel should be. The staff at the front desk and housekeeping were friendly and greeted when we saw them. The lobby, hallways, and rooms look super clean and new. The breakfast buffet was the best we've had in all of Japan. Bedding was the best we've had among all the hotels we stayed in Japan. We enjoyed this hotel Kyoto so much that we extended our planned stay by 2 days. Felt like we were home here. Huge thank you to the fellow at the front desk who advised us to take the Hankyu trains from Kyoto to Osaka instead of getting back on the Shinkansen. Only wish was a laundry facility but there's a public laundromat 1 block away. For reference, we had room 315"

"The onsen at the hotel was very good and the beds were very comfortable. The breakfast buffet was varied and has both Eastern and Western dishes that even the picky eaters will find tempting. The hotel also offers coin-operated washer and dryer. Pro-tip: try not to overload the machines because the dryer will not work as well. Or bring a clothesline to dry your delicates."

"I recently had the pleasure of staying at Keio Prelia Hotel Kyoto Karasuma Gojo, and I must say, it was an exceptional experience. The hotel's location is incredibly convenient, situated close to major attractions and public transport, making it an ideal base for exploring Kyoto. The room was impeccably clean, modern, and comfortable. The bed provided a restful night's sleep, and the bathroom amenities were of high quality. I also appreciated the thoughtful touches, such as the complimentary toiletries and the efficient use of space within the room. The staff were outstanding—always welcoming, friendly, and ready to assist with any request. Their professionalism and warm hospitality made my stay even more enjoyable. One area for improvement is the TV. It would be great if future upgrades included smart TVs that allow guests to stream services like Netflix. This small enhancement would add to the overall comfort and convenience. Overall, my stay at Keio Prelia Hotel Kyoto Karasuma Gojo was wonderful, and I highly recommend it to anyone visiting Kyoto.
