This quiet and private retreat is available for extended vacation / snowbirds to enjoy the WestCoast lifestyle. You will spend much of your time in the large family room with gas fireplace, adjacent to the open plan kitchen and dining area. These flow onto the huge sundeck for an indoor / outdoor living experience that feeds the soul. The large living room with 2nd gas fireplace, is a bonus that can also be used as a 4th bedroom. This space has a 90 day minimum. A five minute walk to Brickyards Community waterfront park to get your feet wet, or go for an Ocean swim. The Schooner Cove Marina is a very short drive where you can enjoy a delicious meal at the new Nanoose Bay Cafe. Full grocery and liquor store service is a 15 minute drive, or enjoy visiting the nearby communities of Parksville or Nanaimo for a more urban experience. If walking / hiking is your pleasure, there are lots of great local walks and easy hikes available, including roaming the huge beaches in Rathtrevor Provincial Park, of Parksville. Skiing is available a 90 minute drive away on the slopes of Mt. Washington. Property had large rooms all on one floor, so no need to carry heavy suitcases up stairs. Everything provided in the kitchen, bathrooms and bedrooms. First of all, the location was great with a nice view of the ocean, the golf course just out of the property and yet the trail there was completely concealed so there was no disturbance to privacy. Second, the amenities were great, all necessary furniture inside and outside, all the kitchen appliances and everything.
