But aircon broke down on third day and we had to shift to another room. The staffs are very helpful and friendly, the hotel is opposite the beautiful Xuanwu lake which is one of the popular tourist destination, the metro line is also next to the hotel which lead to many other tourists spots. Online booking is much more affordable than OTC cash price for rooms. ##### B ### 8/10 Good #### タニマリ, 日本・東京 Aug 5, 2015 Liked: Cleanliness, staff & service, property conditions & facilities, room comfort #### 玄武湖近くのクラシックなシティホテル 最近できたばかりというわけではなく、歴史のあるホテルだと聞いています。このホテルへの宿泊は2度目になります。1回目は先方が予約してくれたシティビューで湖の見えない部屋。その時の印象がよかったので、今回は自費でレイクビューの部屋に宿泊しました。玄武湖まで若干距離がありますが、湖が見えてそれなりに雰囲気はよかったです。 夕食はホテルの中国料理レストランで取りました。淮揚料理がメニューにあり、大層美味でした。「淮揚」とは江蘇省の淮安（建国後の中国で名宰相と言われた周恩来の故郷）と揚州を指し、料理はあっさりとしていながらコクがありました。豆腐とハムを千切りにして煮込んだ料理（「平橋豆腐」？）は、包丁さばきは繊細で、絶品でした。ただ、閉店が9時なので、高速鉄道で南京南駅に7時40分についたので、ギリギリにかけこんだという感じでした。 ホテルのすぐ横には地下鉄があり、市内を移動するには便利です。また、地下鉄の駅から歩いて１、2分のところに湖南路面という通りがあり、道の両側には、いかにもおいしそうな江南小吃の店が多くありました。 残念ながら、6時半から明孝陵に向けて出発したので、ホテルで朝食を食べることはできませんでした。 ##### タニマリ ### 8/10 Good #### jay, louisiana, united states Jul 26, 2015 Liked: Cleanliness, staff & service, property conditions & facilities, room comfort #### Good experience Overall good experience of stay! Also, it is a short taxi ride to the railway station. Staff is friendly enough. It used to be one of the best hotels in town.
