~ Maple View Guesthouse is 10+ minutes from Port Alberni on the nearside of beautiful Sproat Lake. We allow a maximum of 4 adults or 6 total occupants. Check-in is made easy with a personal access code for the backdoor. The property is private, surrounded by forest, and has a large yard to enjoy. There are sandy public beaches 10 minutes away by car. Although the property has no lake frontage, there is an adventurous trail which only takes a few minutes to reach a tranquil spot to swim. ~ Maple View is not a party destination. With limited occupancy and high level upkeep, Maple View is best suited as a couples getaway destination, healing nature retreat, work related lodging, or single family vacation home. ~ Cleaning.... At Maple View Guesthouse we (the hosts) personally clean our space between each stay. We implement the cleaning protocol recommended by Airbnb which is designed by the 'Centers for Disease Control and Prevention'. We provide a 24 hour unbooked cleaning window before and after each stay which allows for a 12pm check-out time. Take comfort in knowing that all the bedding is washed right down to the mattress protector before any new guest arrives. Disinfecting of touch surfaces (handles, door knobs, light switches, hair dryers, remote controls etc) is carried out after each stay using isopropyl alcohol. Guests will be supplied with liquid hand soap, 4 rolls of paper towel, 1 box of tissues, hand sanitizer, and a bottle of 50/50 isopropyl alcohol/water disinfectant. ~ Amenities..... The Maple View kitchen is equipped with a fridge, stove, dishwasher, microwave, coffee maker, coffee, tea, whitener, sugar, toaster, blender, pots, pans, egg poacher, salad bowls, wine glasses, cutting boards, condiments and spices, and basic dishes. The laundry machines are for guests to enjoy (no charge). The home has a heat pump with AC. There are carpeted stairs which lead to the carpeted second floor of the home. There is a child sized mattress, collapsible playpen, and a highchair available. Our fully screened patio allows guests to escape the insects yet be outside, perfect for a romantic dinner or game of cards. The house has WiFi and a 55" smart TV with Netflix, YouTube, and Disney+ ready to go. The electric fireplace ads supplemental heat when needed or charming ambiance (without heat). We provide complimentary organic Creekmore’s coffee (roasted locally). We provide a 3 burner propane BBQ (please clean after each use). We provide a propane fire pit. Note there are 2 outdoor cameras explained in detail in the house rules.

Air-conditioned accommodations at this vacation home offer fireplaces and coffee/tea makers. Rooms open to patios. Kitchens offer refrigerators, stovetops, microwaves, and separate dining areas. Bathrooms include shower/tub combinations and hair dryers.

Recreational amenities at the vacation home include an outdoor tennis court.
