It is the principal Buddha of Wat Pong Sunan located in Phrae, Thailand. Once an abandoned temple call Wat Pong Sunak, in 1929 is was renovated and a new shrine hall built. It was renamed Wat Pong Sunan after Luang Phong Phibun and Chao Sunanta who supported the renovations.
