This tastefully decorated, 3 bedroom/2 bath, oceanside home is the perfect getaway for family, friends or couples! Located on a quiet cul de sac only a 5 minute walk to Bonnett Street Beach access (lifeguarded beach access), the location can't be beat! We manage and clean the home ourselves - you will not find a cleaner rental home! Kitchen recently updated with quartz countertops, marble backsplash + black stainless appliances. Our new outdoor shower is the perfect way to end your day on the beach. We are considered "oceanside" which does not require you to cross a major highway to access the beach.

Full access to the Outer Banks Family YMCA - .4 Miles from the cottage. Full use of all workout equipment and indoor/outdoor pools!

Carolina Dreaming is only a block away from the new, 5 acre Dowdy Park! There is a great playground for kids, basketball, bocce ball and pickle ball courts. In the summer, Dowdy has been home to a weekly farmers/artisans market.

In addition to this great new park - we are within walking distance to Tortuga's Lie, Lucky 12 Tavern, Galaxy Mini Golf, Morningview Coffee Shop, The Spot Ice Cream, Nags Head YMCA, Waveriders Deli and of course, the BEACH!

About Us:
Adam and Amanda live in Chesapeake, VA with their 2 young sons. We have always dreamed of owning a beach home and in 2016 our dreams came true! Adam's love of real estate and Amanda's passion for antiquing and interior decorating, make them the perfect duo to manage a vacation rental home. We want our guest to be as comfortable as possible when staying in our home.

We didn’t want to leave

The home was exactly as pictured, clean, cozy and beautifully decorated. My family had a wonderful spring break. The location was convenient, 5 min walk to the beach, less than 10 minutes to the coffee shop, ice cream and restaurants. The kitchen was well equipped for cooking family meals. Loved little details like white noise machines in every bedroom and children’s books to read to my kid every night. We also really enjoyed having access to the bikes to ride around the neighborhood, especially to the park nearby. We’d absolutely stay again!

Nice place for an OBX getaway

Had a great visit in Nags head at this property! It was our first time in OBX and the location was perfect for us to head north one day and south the next to explore most of the islands.The park nearby was very nice. Lots of activities to do there (basketball, pickleball, horseshoes, etc).Some great food/ice cream within walking distance. Including the beach.House was very clean and had everything we needed. Well thought out in covering all the amenities.Host was an excellent communicator and always available should we need anything. Gave some great recommendations of restaurants and places to see. Would definitely stay again!

Wonderful stay in Nags Head

Amanda was incredible, reaching out before and during our stay to ensure that we had everything we needed. The house was incredibly clean and had a ton of amenities for families. The location was great - within a short driving distance to restaurants/activities and about a 5 minute walk to the beach.

Wonderful cottage that made relaxing easy!!

Beautifully decorated, meticulously clean, and had everything we needed both at the cabin and within easy walking distance. Very welcoming and responsive owner, made our stay great. Especially enjoyed the cute screened area and swing underneath to relax in the afternoons.

We had a great vacation. The house is in a perfect location with close proximity to the beach but also in a quiet neighborhood. Amanda was great to work with. We would stay there again if traveling to Nags Head.

Perfect family beach getaway

The house was sparkling clean, plenty of space to spread out, and met all of our needs. Loved that the property was shaded and we enjoyed dinners out on the deck. Lovely stay

We could tell this home was cared for and loved. Amanda and Adam were responsive and so helpful. The house was so clean and just the right amount of space for our family. We particularly loved the screened porch and walking to The Spot for ice cream and coffee. Highly recommend!

Great beach vacation spot!

This beach home is very clean, and very well-cared for, with lots of nice touches. Inside, there are lots of comfortable places to be; and outside, the home is in a quiet neighborhood just a short walk to the beach. The owners made us feel right at home, and were super well-organized in providing us information, giving us tips, and being available if we needed. We had a great time, we enjoyed our stay immensely, and we can't wait to come back again!

Great cottage in Nags Head

The cottage is adorable and just roomy enough to fit our party of six. Kitchen was well stocked with cooking gear. Cottage was a short walk to beach which is one of the ones with bathrooms and showers, which was nice. Also it was in a great location for us to do other activities - Jockey's Ridge, mini-golf and go karts, and lots of ice cream/custard treat options! Plus Amanda was awesome to deal with - super helpful and very responsive.

Perfect!

Carolina dreamin is an amazing property that is so close to the beach and so functional with the outdoor shower and screened in living space. The kitchen had everything we needed to make dinners together. And more than the actual property, Amanda was fantastic throughout the entire process. She gave amazing recommendations for where to eat and things to do, and made sure everything went smoothly.

Perfect spot for our first time in the OBX.

Amanda was welcoming from our first phone conversation, to answering questions, and providing check-in info and details about the area. The house was beautiful, clean, and had every amenity my family of 5 needed (and more) including fun toys and chairs for the beach and sand (and a very light wheeled cart to get it all there easily). It is a short walk to the beach, a grocery store, and several restaurants and a short drive to Jockey Ridge, Bodie Lighthouse and the Wright Brothers monument and museum. Thank you Amanda and Adam for welcoming this Midwest family to your home for a week! It was the perfect vacation!

Amazing Beach Vacation

Our family of 6 had a wonderful time in Nag's Head. The location cannot be beat - a short walk to the beach, restaurants, mini golf and ice cream...there is no better place to stay. The house is stocked with everything you need - including kids plates and cups! My kids loved the nearby park, and the ocean...the best. Super clean beach, plenty of space, warm water and lots of shells. Amanda is a phenomenal host. She called us as soon as we made the reservation to answer any questions we may have had, and she communicated us throughout the week to make sure we got in ok and everything was good. We had a wonderful vacation and will definitely be back!
